Cala D or Apartamentos

Stayed for a week in August. Room very clean, cleaners came every day. Plenty of space for 3 of us. Everyone complains no air-conditioning, but we knew that when we booked. Rented 2 decent fans from reception which helped a lot. Pool bar more expensive than town centre, but good quality. Nearly 200 steps down to shopping centre, bit of a trek coming back up, or only £4 in taxi. 2 decent small supermarkets outside hotel. Weather fantastic all week ! As always, you get what you pay for. We would return.

Arrived home on Monday from a weeks holiday here and would not return ! Perfect location but that's about all . Never bought a single thing from pool bar £8.45 for a bottle of magners and the most expensive we had was £4.50 . The breakfast prices are crazy too ! The cleaners are rude especially the one with blonde hair . Went to reception to get towels as had the same ones for 3 days to be met with a ride last at reception and shouted no you only get them twice a week and my fault for booking with jet 2 . Explained we had been at beach and towels are really dirty she said ok I send cleaner but none tomorrow. Cleaner came and flung them in door and said no cleaning tomorrow so never got clean sheets all week either . The day we were leaving I asked if I could shower anywhere later and the man older one was pleasant he said yes come back later I give you key . Arrived back asked young boy told no you have not booked I wasn't told I had to . So never got one . Also no information in rooms of wifi or when cleaners come ect on arrival we got a card and told go up these Stairs to your room could not find it was to dark went back to reception bit came up to top of stairs and pointed go there right went there still couldn't find it then we asked a guest to help us and we found it . No air con was a issue but k ew before we arrived and hired a fan . Also had the so called quite pool they let people put on speakers so you have different music /rave very loud and can't chill at all . Definitely would not return here needs improvement

2nd visit since october 2024 Beautiful self catering accommodation, rooms very spacious and cleaned daily Lovely bar area and food Staff very attentive and polite do anything for you 5 - 10 mins walk to commercial center Only downside is the noise at night and during early hours, but take earplugs you will be fine

Great apartments has everything you need clean & spotless and nothing a bother its my 2nd time here and i will definately return rooms are a great size and has everything you need kitchen facilities great aswell. Some amazing views from the balcony.

I stayed in the hotel for a week, staff was very helpful and friendly. Hotel rooms were very clean and cleaning ladies was doing great job. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone it was my first time to be there but definitely not the last time.

We cannot fault the apartments themselves. They were spacious, clean. Huge balcony. We came in May half term and a few locals told us it is one of the quietest times of the year, therefore, we always got sunbeds around the pool. Staff were friendly too. The apartments are definitely not for the less mobile as they are situated at the top of a hill. (The steps down to the resort were closed when we went so we had to walk the long way around.) The elephant in the room is the loud noise from the entertainment centre in the valley which goes on until 4.30 am. Fortunately, we knew about this before we came out and so took ear plugs. (A few glasses of wine helped too!) We wouldn't return to Altair- only because Puerto Rico as a resort was not our cup of tea. However, if you're a fan of this resort, these apartments are excellent!
