Colina Mar

Just back from a 14 night stay again, excellent place to stay, room 414 close to reception and shop, all staff are amazing, rooms very clean, all you need for self catering,the small pool at the bottom is a nice quiet place to chill, in the process of booking for later this year

Just back this morning from a week at Colina Mar. We went as a family of 5 (2 couples & a baby) & stayed in rooms 313 & 314. We only used the rooms as a base to sleep & shower & they were well equipped for our needs. Powerful shower, comfy beds & well equipped should you want to cook. On arrival at around midnight we had a complimentary bottle of water which was appreciated as we had baby bottles to make & there was washing up liquid, sponge, cloth & shampoo/ shower gel. Staff were friendly, the main pool was great with plenty of sun loungers & an amended menu due to kitchen work. Food was cheap & tasty. Good selection of drinks too. We didn’t go to the other pool as there was a renovation happening in the restaurant & we couldn’t find the way around to it as opposed to cutting through the restaurant. Cleaners came in every other day. The onsite shop was well equipped but a little more expensive than the Hiper dinos outside of the complex. It’s a 5 minute walk to the Europa centre which has all the bars, restaurants & shops. 5€ for a taxi down to Amadores beach which is gorgeous! 6€ taxi to Puerto Rico beach where you can get ferries etc to Mogan, Anfi & Arguiniguin for about 13€ return. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back here for a cheap & cheerful break. Thank you Colina Mar for a lovely week.

I know it's a clique but you really do get what you pay for. I start at low to high prices because I'm not rich and don't have a lot of money. I liked the price I read the reviews and I got what I expected. The staff were friendly. The hotel is tired and in need of many repairs but it's clean and felt safe.

The price of the hotel reflects our trip well , cheap and cheerful . Sadly due to unforeseen circumstances we were supposed to be going to Lindos and love holidays moving policy meant we had to pay more than double the price for Colina mar :) despite this we tried to remain upbeat and did manage to have a real laugh, all guest were friendly as well as the staff. Food was very basic and wine was undrinkable so for this reason I’d recommend going self catering instead of the all inclusive package. The location was fantastic despite the steep hill and the views from our room lived up to the photos online. Colina mar is extremely British suiting in regard to the food and the way of life , from HP brown sauce on the tables to English being the first language you see and hear all around the resort . The overall score was 3/5 during our 4 night stay , my mother stayed here 34 years ago and after showing her the rooms I was informed that absolutely nothing had changed decor wise 😂

Second time we have been here, wife choose to go back so she must of liked it the first time. Smooth check in eventually, didn't get the room we asked for but was given 2 options, we were tired, so I just choose the one near to the one we wanted (wrong choice) went back up to reception gave me the other key went to that apartment perfect ( thank you reception girls) We went bed and breakfast, breakfast was great, rooms need a bit of a tidy up, but everything was there and kept clean by our maid Maria ( Thank you Maria ) Overall we had a great stay, great views from our room number 229, last thing to say is thank you to all the staff that we came in to contact with the made our stay even better and hopefully we will return next year.

Don't waste your money room's are 1970s style.the pillows have sheets stuck inside.a blanket inside the duvet cover.everyone getting food poisoning worst hotel on the island.stained sheets.sun loungers never get cleaned with all that sweat on them.i wudnt give it 1 star but had too.AVOID AT ALL COST.receptionist was rude and aggressive.
