Astoria Palawan arvostelua

Very sulit. Accommodating staff, clean room and resort, delicious breakfast, more amenities good for kids esp. The waterpark, my son was very enjoy.

We had such a great experience at this hotel! The service was fantastic, everybody was so friendly. The amenities were fantastic as well. Great food at the buffet, fantastic massages and appreciated the one free pass to the water park next door. It's about an hour and a half south of Puerto princesa. You can negotiate with a taxi to take you for about 2,000 pesos to the hotel. Once there, everything is easy! They have a small mini golf course, playgrounds, three pools, massage and gym, and fire shows and live music every night at the buffet restaurant. We did the underground River excursion through the hotel, it was 2,800 pesos per person and really enjoyed our trip and they also have free excursions to a Sandbar and a beach. The best part of the hotel is the service. The staff all greeted us warmly. The customer service manager is definitely doing his job!

Die Zimmer sind super, es gibt sogar eine kleine Küche mit Mikrowelle, Geschirr und Waschbecken. Es war sehr ruhig, ausreichendes Wlan und auch sonst nichts was fehlte. Die Lage des Resorts ist etwas abgelegen, deshalb sind wir auch nur innerhalb der Anlage geblieben. Es bietet genug Abwechslung. Alternativ wird auch genug vom Hotel außerhalb der Anlage angeboten. Bei einem längeren Aufenthalt von einer Woche oder mehr könnte es etwas langweilig werden. Das Frühstück und auch das Abendessen lassen keine Wünsche offen. Beim Abendessen muss man beachten, dass es für philippinische Verhältnisse recht teuer ist. Dafür schmeckte es aber auch sehr gut.

Выбирали отель исходя из большого количества положительных отзывов. На удивление плохих практически нет, однако я бы не посоветовал этот отель для остановки в Пуэрто Принцесса.  Во-первых, очень спорное расположение отеля, полтора часа от города, поехать из него куда-то для прогулки не получится. По территории отеля проходит сливная система канализации прямо в море. В наше пребывание был сильный запах канализации. Идешь вдоль моря по берегу, а запах не моря, а канализации.  При этом территория для купания огорожена ровно там, где осуществляется слив в море. Каяками и сапами для плавания воспользоваться не удастся. В море обозначены в качестве опасности медузы, рыба-камень и ежи. Персонал говорил, что в специально отведенной зоне натянута сетка, и купание безопасно, однако сами видели медуз большого размера на берегу. Но я вас уверяю, купаться в такой воде желания у вас не будет. Возможно, есть отдельный трансфер до купабельного пляжа, мы не стали выяснять. Бассейны не глубокие с крайне теплой водой, присутствует избыток химических средств, кожа на руках и ногах быстро разъедалась, у ребенка появилось болезненное раздражение в паховых областях, вода из-за реагентов кислая.  Номер соответствует описанию на сайте, стильно оформлен, присутствует запах химикатов против плесени, высокая влажность, кондиционер не спасает. Видно, что плесень идет по стенам, отель пытается с ней бороться. Из-за влажности в номере у нас даже не заряжался телефон, высвечивалось на экран сообщение о повышенной влажности, телефон может быть испорчен.  При сильном солнце не раскрывают зонтики у бассейна, якобы ветер, но ветра на самом деле нет.  Из положительного: большая зеленая территория, вечером красивая подсветка, услужливый персонал, неплохо готовят коктейли, каждый вечер живая музыка и фаершоу. В номере есть все необходимое, даже утюг. 

Отель не плохой, очень большой, красивая территория, трансфер по территории. Вкусная еда в ресторане, разнообразная. Номера чистые. В сети этих отелей почему то нет пододеяльников, одеяло между двух простыней, это очень не комфортно и лично для меня брезгливо. Во время нашего отдыха в море бы отлив, те его не было. Сервис не плохой, но долгий. На ресепшене нас долго обслуживали, вечером с детьми мы сильно устали. Расположение удобное, тк по пути из аэропорта Пуэрто Принцесс в Эльнидо, этот отель хорош для остановки.

My wife and I booked twice a Superior Room at Astoria Palawan in December 2024 and February 2025. Each time about 4 nights. The first time we were upgraded to a room at the Villas because the Superior Rooms were occupied. At the Villas you will have a maximum of two neighbours because its just one floor and no corridor because you enter the room from your terrace. The second time we really got the booked Superior Room in the building called "Nest". In the worst case you have 4 neighbours one to the left and one to the right and two neigbours below and on top. Additionly you will have a corridor form where you access the room. All day and night you can her boom boom, because the automatic door closers are not adjusted. Additionally you can hear the neighbours moving the chairs around with loud scratch sounds, because the chairs have no furniture gliders. Thats why I got almost no sleep in the first night. In the moring I complained about the situation and the staff upgraded us to a another building. Unfortunately, It was the same, 4 neighbours, boom boom and scrachtching chairs. I told the staff about the adjustment of the automatic door closers and the furniture gliders. Nothing happened until our check out. The hotel is located directly at the ocean but the ocean does not really invite for swimming. You can rent a kayak or a big wheel bicycle. I think one our is for free. On the property you can find a little grocery strore. On the other sinde of the street you can find a Philippino owned restaurant and little shops. The breakfast at Astoria is amazing. The breakfast area is air conditioned and they offer all kind of food. All the stuff at the hotel is super kind and friendly. The waterpark of Astoria is located beside the Hotel. One day of your stay the entrance is for free. If you need you can pay for towels and a locker. Our day there was really funny. There are a few pools on the property of Astoria but we didn't use them. All the property is safe, it's guarded at day and night. If you really want peace and silence you should book a room at the Villas (Deluxe Room). Or you can try if they have already fixed the noise problems... Except the noise problems I can recommend Astoria Palawan. I will let you know and update my comment on the noise as soon as I know that they have fixed the problems. We definitly are going back.

We stayed in astoria for 4 days. Their amenities are nice but what really turned me off is their service. As soon as we arrived in the check in counter, we didn’t feel welcomed. A man was helping us check in while 4 women in white shirts were behind him just staring at us. I understand that they’re probably training these women but i don’t think they understand how uncomfortable it is to just have everyone staring at us. The customer service at the restaurant was terrible as well. Everytime we ordered or asked for something, the person delivering the food expected us to rearrange our utensils and food while she waited there on the side. Di ba kayo marunong magsalita? These people need to work on communicating and taking initiative. Also don’t order their room service food, I am not a picky eater but wow it’s so bad. Breakfast buffet and dinner buffet were decent

Value for money. We enjoyed the stay especially the water park. Fun way to relax and unwind. Comfy bed and hospitable staff.

Great stay! Definitely would go back. I travelled alone from Europe and wanted a quiet place for a long stay (10 days). I made the right choice. Everything in Astoria was perfect, from the airport shuttle (the flight was delayed and they waited about an hr), the welcome was very special with a welcome drink and wanting to make sure I was ok, the villa I staed in was very clean, very comfortable, spacious, very clean, towards the luxurious side but also simple and nicely done. Had plenty of fresh bottled water every single day, they provided towels for the pool, did one of their tours to Port Barton which I loved and again they really looked after us and made sure we had a great time. The team in the whole resort was always very attentive, every time with a smile, nothing was too much of a trouble. Breakfast was plenty, lots of options, huge variety and very special to have breakfast by the pool facing the beach. I had dinner in one of their restaurants, it was fine but the choices for vegetarian are very limited so I ended up going to a restaurant outside the resort for dinner most nights.

The overall resort is very nice so you can have a relaxing time during your stay. You should try to book a massage or any activities at least a day before (if not sooner) since they are very accesible but also on high demand.

Хорошее место. Но, имейте ввиду- дорожки к пляжу местами выложены галькой- если ходите босиком- будет легкий массаж:-))
