Casa Amazonas

The stay at Casa Amazonia gave me exactly the experience I needed. As a solo woman traveler, I felt extremely safe. The food was way beyond my expectations, cooked with love and so delicious and healthy. The rooms and bathrooms very clean and hygienic. The yoga room is the best place to meditate, unwind and reflect. I did some cultural activities like indigenous painting, the flower bath and medicinal trails which were too informative and enriching. The campus has a lot of good animal sighting and you will enjoy the music of the diverse birds and insects during your stay. There’s wifi and good network too. The host and staff are very kind, helpful and generous. If you’re looking for the right Amazon experience with a mix of culture and wildlife while having healthy food and unwinding in nature by yoga and mediation, this place will be perfect. You won’t be disappointed.

You feel that you are in the jungle away from anyone.

Casa Amazonas is truly a paradise, and Vanessa and her team go out of their way to make sure you have a wonderful time and enjoy the space and the jungle in an authentic way. I was a solo traveller, and they made sure I was taken care of with organising activities, and arranging transport for anything I did off the premises. I had a fantastic yoga lesson with Vanessa, and took a cooking class, both of which were amazing. Everything is very well maintained and the lodge is beautiful. The design of the hotel fits perfectly to the jungle in a simplistic way. The yoga shala is incredible, and there is a small swimming pool too, which is great for cooling off from the jungle temperatures. The food was also lovely, and it was so nice to have healthy vegetarian meals and fresh fruit/ juices. I already miss waking up to the sounds of the animals! Thank you!

Excellent experience in Casa Amazonas, we stayed for 3 nights and it was awesome! you can feel and has a connection with nature, it has excellent service, food and accommodations! We took yoga classes with Vanessa, we learned about fauna and flora from "Maestro Ese Eja" Victor, we got painted from Jenny, a woman from the community of Monte Salvado, we visited Lago Sandoval in the Natural Reserve of Tambopata! We saw a lot of animals, monkeys, birds, a black alligator!!! I want to come back soon with my family!!

My plans were changed at the last minute but the property accommodated the confusion. I hope to visit the hotel in the future
