Aparthotel Costa Mar

The location it's great ,minutes away from beach, bus stop just across the road which take you straight to airport in about 10min for less then 2euros and to other beaches or cities around I was greeted warmly by the reception which kindly gave me the room earlier, explaining everything about the place.No city tax was asked and I was given a big apartment with sea view which had everything you need . The shop in front of the hotel its helpful selling food and drinks. Maybe the hotel needs a bit of refit otherwise I had a wonderful time there,staff its very very nice all the way !

Look, if you manage to get a cheap deal here then take it. But before you do you must realise what you’re getting. The reception and pool area is fine, the staff are great and the food is okay. My apartment was run down and I’ve included photos. But, the biggest pain in my ass was the WiFi, which in reception kept crashing and I n your apartment had a cost of €15 per week, per device. For that reason ONLY I wouldn’t stay here again

Couldn't fault our trip from the moment we checked in to when we left.Tony I think was his name front of desk so helpful.apartment has everything you need.clean and great location.right on the beachfront.nice quite location but still in the center of everything

Io e il mio ragazzo siamo rientrati oggi da Lanzarote!! Abbiamo alloggiato per 10 giorni presso i costamar e che dire ci siamo trovati molto bene !! Struttura un po' defilata dal caos di Puerto del carmen ma a 5 Min in auto alla via centrale con tutti localini e a 5 Min a piedi da san jameos anche lì con localini e ristoranti Sei a 1 Min dalla spiaggia Los pocillos,molto bella !! Noi avevamo un bilocale con terrazzino ,molto carino . Arredamento un po' datato ma pulito, bagno grande e doccia grande e materasso molto comodo. Avevamo la mezza pensione, colazione un po' Meno vasta per quanto riguarda i dolci ma cmq buona e soddisfacente. E la cena , buona ,anche qui non vastissima ma comunque il cibo tutto ottimo e a buffet!! Camerieri simpatici e gentili. Zona wifi solo zona reception. Piscina non ci siamo mai andati ma a colpi d'occhio era pulita e ben tenuta. La clientela era prettamente inglese e spagnola ... Ma d'altronde come tutta Puerto del carmen. Si trova posto facilmente ( a settembre ) Supermercato a 1 Min aperto fino alle 22. Che dire sicuramente ci ritorneremo!!😍

Arrived as a couple for the 2nd week in September. Booked last minute so didn’t know what to expect. Had read mixed reviews, especially about the food being poor or cold - total nonsense. We were half board so got breakfast which was limited enough if you were expecting a full fry every morning but plenty of fruit, yoghurts, cereals, eggs, bread, juice, etc. The dinner never failed to impress - a couple of hot choices every night - chicken, pork chops, lamb, turkey, beef meatballs, pasta, fish and plenty of salad. Chips most might. Also soup, rolls and plenty of cakes and ice cream. Great value! The menu can be quite traditional and not very child friendly if you have a fussy eater expecting pizza and chips. The only complaint I would have is that you have to pay for bottled water with your dinner - €2 a bottle each which is not expensive but I would have thought the water would be free. All drinks go on your room bill and are payable on checkout. The pool area is lovely - very clean and no sun bed wars that we saw. The pool is split in 2 with a deep section and a shallower section. Only downside is the pool bar - very expensive at €4 for a pint of Tropical and €5 for a pint of Magners. This compares badly with most other bars. The pool snacks seemed reasonably priced. Had a one bed apartment in block A on floor 3. Had a huge balcony overlooking the road and fabulous Pocillos beach. The apartment was typical Spanish style and spotless. It was cleaned 5 days out of the 7 we were there. The staff are the real success of this hotel - from reception to the restaurant to the pool bar to the exceptional cleaning staff. Everyone was most friendly and efficient. The hotel is set out in blocks in a horseshoe shape - our block was at the front while others go around the back of the pool and reception. There are no lifts so request ground floor if needed. There is no air conditioning in some apartments but the website does say this. You can pay for it in certain apartments - we just opened the patio doors and a window in the bedroom, which had a mosquito net to keep out the bugs. (Didn’t actually see any!) The hotel is in an ideal flat location. Great walks to the left to Matagorda or to the right to the main *****. The beach opposite is pure class! There is a huge Spar next door and a very handy pharmacy. A few restaurants but nothing hectic in our view. Please remember that this is a 3 star hotel. It certainly lives up to that and more. Folk should not expect or be critical of things that you would find in a 4 or 5 star hotel that the Costa Mar doesn’t have. We have booked to return as a family next June.

Our second visit this year, hopefully back for our 3rd visit in November this year. We think this hotel/apartments are good value for what we have paid so can’t complain really, this is a good 3 star hotel/apartments id say and pool area is great. The rooms are fairly dated and furniture has seen better days but no complaints for the price we paid. Everyone i spoke to seemed to be happy and enjoying their holiday 😃 The Spar shop is just opposite the hotel and a few restaurants very close by and more restaurants a short walk away. The staff and cleaners we spoke to all seemed nice and friendly especially David on reception. All in all we absolutely loved our holiday and will be booking this hotel every time we visit Lanzarote 😁

This is a very old and run down appartments. The room quality is very poor, there is no way this is a 3 star. Kitchen doors hanging off and light fitting hanging off, one of the rooms is so small you can't even open the wardrobe door fully. The WiFi isn't included. you have pay for vouchers at reception for each device connected The pool bar is closed at the weekend meaning I couldn't even get water or snaks for the kids, we had go to the local spar shop and bring it back to hotel I would not recommend this place to anyone. I reported the issues as soon as I arrived and they were not addressed by the time I left.

Groot appartement maar sterk verouderd. Er hangt een airconditioning maar geen mogelijkheid om aan te zetten . Meubilair stamt waarschijnlijk nog vanaf de opening. Bzit niet prettig. Bed is prima. Keuken aanwezig met koelkast en wat apparaten. Bestek , kopjes ed niet compleet voor het aantal personen wat hier kan verblijven. Ontbijt en avondeten is prima. Personeel is zeer vriendelijk

First time on the island Cheap and cheerful. A few cons but given the price we weren't to bothered. The apartment is huge. Two large bedrooms The balcony had a sea view which was nice. There isn't any air-conditioning so we left the patio doors and some windows open. Some nice.lirtle restaurants on the front. The Spar is great and very convenient. Bus to the ***** just up the road. We often used the bus to explore the island. My main negative is the pool bar closes at 4pm and isn't open Saturdays or Sundays. Overall we enjoyed.our week in the sun.
