Apartamentos Corona Mar

Very mixed thoughts prior to this holiday however, we had a fab time and apartments were really good. Get the negative points out the way for which there’s only a few - pretty steep stairs for people with walking difficulties up to reception/rooms (is a back entrance /exit route which is an alternative. No air-con in rooms although there was a fan available and finally extra charges for keeping room on was a bit steep especially as reception shut at 4pm (small shower area available but not the best). However, we really enjoyed apartments, lovely and clean rooms which were well equipped (kettles, towels, hairdryer, microwave, oven, English tv channels and fridge all in rooms). Rooms cleaned several times during stay - fresh towels etc every other day - can’t fault cleanliness of rooms or pool area. Lovely and quiet around pool (pool was cold mind) and there was even a sun roof lounge which was very peaceful. Canny selection of books available to read which was also a bonus. Spar a minute away from complex and it was only a 5min walk down to main shopping / bars & restaurants. Nice pub halfway down road to break the walk up (First and Last bar - sold lush pasties and sausage rolls . Overall lovely holiday and will return again to apartments.

Fabulous apartments! Everything you need for a very comfortable stay including an oven,iron n ironing board which are very rarely included in sc apartments! Close to all amenities spar nxt door , bars ,restaurants& beach which is lovely! House keepers friendly & work really hard to make sure everything is spotless & handyman cleaning all the loungers was friendly & polite also. The man on reception was very helpful & informative about facilities ( courtesy room,luggage room etc) also friendly. All in all we had a really lovely stay for 5 nights & would highly recommend! We will definitely be booking again. Thank you all at the corona mar x

We weren't sure what to expect despite the great reviews as we had to go away in the Easter holidays. We were delighted with the location of the gated apartment.... Easy walk to bars restaurants and the beach with a Spar right at the bottom of the steps. The apartment was basic but had most of the things we needed including hairdryer and iron. Could have done with a chopping board but minor issue! The tv had English programs on but we hardly used it. It was very quiet with hardly any noisy kids (not much to entertain kids) and we could always get 3 sunbeds together. Our apartment was right by the pool which was great although the water was chilly. The cleaning staff were amazing! They cleaned quickly on our arrival so we could get in early and emptied the bins every day and changed towels every other day. We rented 2 beach towels for €10 each which was returned at the end of the holiday. Not ideal for those with mobility issues as there are lots of steps. Everyone was very friendly and we would definitely return.

Well yet again this place is so pleasant and never ceases to surprise me it’s a lovely little gem, apartments are spotless staff are so friendly, rooms are equipped with everything, you need all you need to do is pack you clothes, no need to iron as one is provided, leave the hairdryer at home one is provided. English TV, spacious balcony, spotless and everything feels effortless it’s the perfect location from all ammenties. Rated 2 star not a chance is that all it is, visit you will not be disappointed.

This was our second time here excellent again, we had room 24 this time round, ideal location and very quiet, we booked to return in Feb 2026 last night ! cant come around quick enough ! We definatly prefered being in the apartment with a balcony as we could enjoy even more sunshine.

Unfortunately for us a bad experience as the apartment's were currently undergoing heavy duty maintenance work which went on for the two weeks we had booked.We were never notified that these works were planned for these weeks and totally spoiled our trip we could not use our apartments between 9am and 4pm as noise was so bad. Only two days of each weekend was peaceful holidays are meant for peace and relaxation this certainly was not.
