Hotel Lanzarote Village

Stayed for a 2 night break. Lovely clean hotel. Large room. Comfy bed. Great shower. Large balcony with sea view. Loads of sun beds and umbrellas. Clean pool areas. Well situated - 10 walk to Puerto del carmen. It’s a quiet hotel with little entertainment- Fri was one round of bingo. Sat was a keyboard player who was good but most people had gone to bed by the end The only slight down side is food and drink. Plenty of food on offer, it’s fresh but basic. Wine, spirits ok but baileys & tia Maria were very poor. - I don’t mind a local version but these tasted odd. Staff lovely. We’d come back for a short break all inc but if we were staying longer just do b&b.

We were only there for one day and I had requested an early check in and I'm glad to say we were fortunate to get one. This made our experience of the hotel very good. The room was excellent, very clean and comfortable with a lovely bathroom. The pool area was also well kept. The reception staff were very professional and friendly.

A lovely hotel, with lovely, friendly, hard working staff. Exceptionally clean. We were made to feel welcome by everyone, which was nice as we were worried about recent anti tourist reports, but we saw no evidence of this, and would definately come back. Thank you for a wonderful holiday. We did not want to come home, so that says it all.

Second visit and did not disappoint. Our flight out was late and we eventually arrived about 11 o'clock, receptionist was very helpful, check-in was easy and quick. The rooms are large and very clean, everything you need. The staff make this hotel exceptional, nothing too much trouble, always happy to help. The food can be a bit hit and miss but it's what you would expect from all inclusive. The entertainment is also a bit hit and miss but for the size of the hotel it's what you would expect. Two hours before pick-up a vein on my husband's ankle burst. I went to reception they were so helpful, called a doctor who arrived about 30 mins later and sent housekeeping to clear up the blood. We made our flight, thank you for a wonderful holiday from start to finish.

Ménage fait tous les jours

The location was good. Across the road from the beach and a short stroll to bars and restaurants. Communal areas well kept. The rooms were clean, only downside was the smell of drains from our balcony, we were at the front and paid extra for a seaview. The restaurant was more like a works canteen. Nobody seated you or took a room number, it was a fight for a table if you timed it wrong. It had a manic atmosphere, people queuing for food. The wait staff were doing their best but there was nobody managing the restaurant at all. One night we came down at 8.35pm (it closes at 9.30pm) all the cheese and breads had been cleared away and they were setting up for the next day. It was a kind of "Here's your hat what's your hurry" feeling as they cleared up around you before you had finished. We ate out a few nights even though we had paid for half board, it was less stressful and nicer food. The first night we needed water for the children and were never told there was a water machine and they sold us 3 bottles of water from the bar instead. We had to go to the beach a couple of days as we couldn't get a sun bed, which all made for a stressful experience, not relaxing at all. The reception staff were very unfriendly and looked annoyed whenever we asked for anything. They need a larger restaurant and someone front of house. They also need another pool area to accommodate the amount of people and customer service training for reception staff. Personally I would never go there again, felt we like cattle. It's a shame because it could be nice but it was definitely not a 4 star experience. We booked this through a Jet2 Package Holiday.
