This was our second visit and we were hoping it would be as enjoyable as our first time especially as we were celebrating our 45th Anniversary. I had emailed the hotel on two occasions about our choice of room. On arrival we were allocated 1110, this was a ground floor room. We had paid for a partial sea view but instead we had a view of the tennis court. During the first night, insects were in the bathroom and bedroom. We informed reception prior to breakfast but were told they could not do anything until the next day. Plus, they said insects get into ground floor rooms from the garden. They did send someone to assist with the insects. We went to reception the next morning but it was not ideal. The rooms were not in a good position and we were told we would need to move quickly. We had friends at the hotel and they were leaving in a few days so we did not wish to use our holiday messing with rooms. Plus, the weather was ideal and thunderstorms were forecasted for later in our holiday. Obviously, we should have spoken to the Jet2 representative. For the whole holiday, my husband sprayed our room because of the insects. Lanzarote Village is in an ideal position to discover the resort. We were able to find sun beds anytime of the day (and this is ideal). Also, I enjoyed many aqua classes plus when it was overcast, I did some Pilates and yoga classes and the instructor was superb. Unfortunately, the internet was not available when I needed to do a webcast for a family funeral. The Staff were not helpful but luckily a nearby hotel was very accommodating.
