Labranda El Dorado

Great location. Near to shops bars and restaurants not far from beaches bus stop ops etc. it’s got a main entrance and a rear gate to use to get to shopping centre and old town. Gardens on the complex nice and well kept and paths lit up at night. Pool behind reception not heated and we didn’t use. Pool far left from reception slightly heated but still very cool. We always managed to get a sun bed but at times they were all taken (school hols). The parasols were concreted into the ground so don’t blow over but can mice to where is needed either. A leaflet provided by reception stated pools closed at 6pm but they actually closed heated pool at 5pm and the cold pool at 6pm which was misleading and strange considering most people used the heated/sunnier pool later than the non heated pool. There was always a lifeguard on duty. Rooms basic but ok bottle of water provided in room on arrival. Cold water pressure in room non existent we had 2 sinks in the bathroom one just stopped when turned to cold the other just about ran a trickle of cold water but trying to get a cool temp on the shower was near impossible as it was scalding hot (and I like a hot shower) or just a trickle. Could be a little noisy at night from passing cars or karaoke from nearby bars but didn’t stop us sleeping. Wi-Fi patchy but ok (worked on balcony and living room but not in bathroom or bedroom). Nice big balcony with table and 2 chairs also an extendable drying rack. We were 3rd floor and felt very secure and could leave windows open as there’s no way of gaining access to them from the outside. Air con was included but we didn’t need it in Feb and the Safe also included but you need a fab thing to activate it from reception. If you ask at reception they will also provide pool towels. We didn’t have any bugs or mosquitoes in our room during our stay. Clean probably visited 3 time over the week to mop floor, smelt like they cleaned bathroom and replaced towels. Bedding not changed. Would I stop again? Yes for the right price down to its location.

Хорошее расположение отеля, все рядом, и океан, и инфроструктура. У нас был просторный номер с отдельной спальной, приятный вид на бассейн и океан . Номерной фонд отеля довольно старый и потрепаный. В некоторых местах грязь откровенно прилипла к стенам и дверям. В спальне звукоизоляция практически отсутствует, движение транспорта и разговоры прохожих - всегда с вами. Уборка очень поверхностная, полы были грязными всегда. Персонал отеля курящий практически под балконами... для некурящих людей- неприятные моменты.

We stayed in a “superior” room . Having checked in we were then faced with the longest ascent up stairs I have ever seen In a hotel . I consider myself quite fit and I really struggled with the suit cases . Upon entering the room the floors were filthy , the walls needing paint . The beds were the most uncomfortable I have slept on in a hotel . The air conditioner filter was so full of dust upon opening it the dirt was visible falling out so we were scared to use it . As a result we were hit the entire stay . The room backed onto the busy main road and we were kept up till 4 am most nights . The other guests were all drunken reprobates . We even had one sitting in front of our doorway drunk at 4am laughing at his phone . Over all a bad experience .

After reading some of the reviews before our stay, I must say I was worried. I stayed with my 13 year old son from the 28th of Jan-4th Feb, and we had a really lovely time. All of the staff we met were extremely pleasant, helpful, and always greeted us. We had daily room clean/tidy accept Sunday (I think I lost track of the day!). Yes, the pools were cold, but we still went in every day, and it soon warmed up after about 30 seconds. Our room did need a coat of paint and a little update. If I'm honest, though, if I hadn't read the reviews, it wouldn't have been as noticeable. The pool bar was really good, especially the cheese and ham sandwich! I can't remember the gentleman or ladies name on the bar, although I promised myself I would! They were helpful, polite, and very helpful. I really can't find any issues that affected our stay. We got new towels when asked as I managed to flood the bathroom, completely my fault 🤣🤣🤣. So if you've booked to stay enjoy and if you do have any concerns speak to reception. The hotel is in a great location and we can highly recommend the open air cinema, The Lost World restaurant, mini golf and the 6d cinema. However don't go to the 6d cinema after you have eaten, definitely go before!

I am writing to formally express my extreme disappointment with our recent stay at Labranda El Dorado Apartments in Lanzarote, which we booked through your company. We had high expectations based on the hotel description, but our experience was deeply unpleasant and, at times, unsafe. Misleading Room Description We booked a Sea View Superior Room, expecting a pleasant view as advertised. Instead, our room overlooked a skip that remained there for our entire stay. It was nothing like what was shown in the booking details, and we felt completely misled. Unbearable Noise – Impossible to Sleep Our room was located at the very bottom of the complex, directly beside an extremely loud Irish pub. From 9 PM to 2 AM every night, we were subjected to deafening singing, making it impossible to sleep. The walls were paper-thin, and we could hear every noise from outside and neighboring rooms. By the second night, we were exhausted and frustrated, so we went to reception to ask if we could move to a different room. The hotel was clearly not full, yet when we explained our issue, the receptionist was dismissive and unhelpful. She shrugged, threw her hands up, and said “sorry” with no effort to assist us. When I asked if that meant there was no possibility of moving rooms, she flatly replied, “No, you booked a superior room, that is your room.” We then contacted Jet2, who attempted to help. When we met with the Jet2 rep and another receptionist the following day, we were told the hotel was fully booked and that the only available rooms were five garden view rooms. However, after looking at the hotel map, it was obvious that many rooms were empty, including ones much further from the noise. The staff refused to move us, despite having options available. Had I known that the so-called ‘Superior’ rooms were all located next to a noisy bar, I would never have booked it. Considering it was meant to be a better option than a standard room—and we paid more for it—I expected much better. Serious Safety Concerns on Our Last Night On our final night, we experienced an extremely dangerous situation that made us feel completely unsafe. A car right across the road from our hotel was set on fire and exploded. This was not a small incident—the car was completely engulfed in flames, and there were what we believe to be fireworks or devices being set off in or near the car, possibly even towards the hotel. The hotel staff showed absolutely no concern for guest safety. At no point were we given any information, reassurance, or even an acknowledgment of what was happening. We were extremely worried for our safety, and the lack of response from the hotel was shocking. Poor Room Conditions & Housekeeping At first glance, our room seemed clean, but we quickly noticed multiple issues: • Mold in the bathroom • Ripped bed sheets and towels • A broken couch that doubled as a pull-out bed we didn’t need—the bottom part was exposed and falling apart, making it uncomfortable to s

This hotel is excellent value and bang in the middle of the old and new town of Puerto del Carmen, which makes it the perfect location. It has a lovely setting surrounded by palms and is lovely to sit by the pool. The hotel is in a busy area but it's very peaceful and you can certainly relax here. The rooms are spacious and have good balconies and air conditioning in each. It loses a mark because it's a bit worn out and will need refurbishment soon. Its certainly a great hotel to stay at and watch the sunsets.
