The good: -very friendly staff, exceptfor one extremely rude cook in the Canarian restaurant -good Canarian restaurant and very good Chinese (actually Asian, some more Indian style and some more Thia style food as well) restaurant; you can book them at no extra charge once during your stay -very clean fairly large and fairly recently redecorated rooms and bathrooms, as you would expect in a 4 star restort style hotel -more than enough sun loungers, yet quite a few people get up before 7 am to put their towels The not so good: -limited airco in common areas, very warm dining room -very, very poor quality wines in the restaurant -only the very cheapest alcoholic drinks available -as the whole hotel is all inclusive (no half board guests) no option to choose from a wine list or get better quality drinks at an extra cost -they have combined two seperate hotels into one, without changing the buffet area itself, whereby it is very crowded around the buffet, we were glad to escape to the much quieter specialty restaurants -buffet lunch and dinner: fair bit of choice but mainly poor quality hamburgers, pasta with tomato sauce, pizza, french fries type of dishes -good choice of egg preparations at breakfast but all rather tasteless (eggs diluted with skimmed milk or even with some water?), inedible sausages that taste like liver As a conclusion: did this hotel hire a cost savings consultant?
