Royal Marina Suites Boutique Hotel

Our 2nd winter sun Lanzarote trip and we decided to treat ourselves. Right from our arrival we knew we'd made the right choice. Check in was friendly and welcoming and we were delighted with our spacious sea facing room and balcony. The bathroom was very luxurious with a stand alone bath, shower space and 2 basins. The pool area is well designed and the pool large enough to do a few lengths and all superbly maintained on a daily basis. The hotel is small with only approx 30 suites all sea facing so nowhere ever felt crowded. Breakfast is served buffet style with the ability to order cooked food all of which was lovely with a great choice. There is no evening food service with the exception of a Fri evening BBQ at present which we did not opt for as there are so many other great restaurants at the Marina within a 10 min walk. Overall we loved our stay here and would have no hesitation to fully recommend it. We will be back!

So good we visited twice! Having visited in November for a long weekend, so impressed we booked for January before we left. IMO people make the place. The team at RMS are so good, although a relaxed management style they work as a team and compliment each other. However the hotel itself is a fantastic design, from the port hole window in the shower providing an unobstructed sea view, to the private terraces each room enjoys, the circulation areas all wafting in pleasant sandalwood. From nearly every part of the hotel a sea view is possible. The terraces are huge (appx. 36m2) all benefiting from sunlight morning to nighttime. Breakfasts should satisfy most tastes and the food served throughout the day of a good standard. Can’t recommend enough. Thank you Royal Marina Suites.

just returned from a week's holiday in the Royal Marine Suites. Travelled with Jet 2 and was our 2nd visit to this lovely hotel and had room 304. It is in a lovely location overlooking the entrance to the Marina. The hotel is immaculately clean and you can see how hard the staff work. Nice spacious room with a large balcony. The hotel is nice and quite and it is easy to relax and enjoy a good book and a good nights sleep, all our fellow guests were quite and considerate . The breakfasts were great with plenty of choice and good quality food and drink, the restaurant staff were great. Plenty of nice restaurants around the marina, good food and again nice and relaxed. We will be back and if you want a good quality quite hotel in a nice location you will not go wrong with this one. There is a lift for those who cannot manage the stairs.

I really enjoyed this stay. The breakfast was lovely and good service too. Reception staff were a bit frosty once or twice. They changed them every day. On arrival our room wasn't ready and we weren't offered a welcome drink which would have been nice or anywhere to change as we would have liked to have maybe sat by the pool. We did but felt a bit daft fully clothed and with luggage. Another thing which really annoyed me was that my medication disappeared from the room. I've no idea how it was on the table. Cleaner was over zealous and threw a number of things away that she shouldn't have like tops for my shampoo which is a very expensive brand as I'm very fussy about my hair. Other than that great but I think the reception staff let it down...they need to consider how they come across when you have been up very early and travelled a long way being pushed and shoved in the airport and squeezed into a small space for five hours. It could be a more welcoming place however breakfast staff were exemplary and couldn't do enough. The room was very well thought out. I personally don't think it's necessary to provide a meal other than breakfast there's taxis and places within walking distance accessed via stairs. I wouldn't have eaten in the hotel in the evening personally as we like to go out

Hervorragend nur wegen der tollen, ruhigen und sauberen Anlage. Sie ist in einem perfekten Zustand. Abzüge wegen Personal und Frühstück. Personal an der Rezeption unterkühlt. Sprechen nur englisch und spanisch. Keine Hinweise auf Veranstaltungen vor Ort (z.B. Märkte) Frühstück könnte umfangreicher sein in dieser Preisklasse. Teilweise überfordertes Personal, trotz Freundlichkeit. Sehr hohe Geräuschkulisse beim Frühstück durch die Nähe zur Küche. Trotzdem haben wir vor, nächstes Jahr wieder dort zu übernachten, wegen der traumhaften Zimmer und Lage.

If I could mark more than 5 stars I would. Perfect boutique hotel with staff who could not do more for you, perfect location and fantastic views of Puerto Calero. Wonderful thank you
