I would like to express my utmost disappointment with my stay at this hotel. In my 20-plus years of traveling, this was by far the worst experience I have ever had.
I checked in around 6 PM, completed all the usual procedures, including a document check, and paid what I believe was a city tax. I later had dinner at the hotel's restaurant. To my surprise, around midnight—at approximately 12:30 AM—my phone started ringing, followed by a knock at the door from the hotel receptionist, asking for my reservation details. I expressed my displeasure at being disturbed at such an hour, as this could have easily waited until checkout. However, she insisted that I show the details immediately and even asked me to come down to the front desk for further verification, which I reluctantly did.
I demand an explanation from the hotel management as to why I was woken up at such an odd hour, especially when I had booked a room specifically for a night of uninterrupted sleep. Otherwise, I could have spent the night for free at the airport terminal.
