my recent stay on 6-8th July 2022 at house 9. the unpleasant stay I had on these dates. I booked this villa as a nice experience for me to prepare for my wedding day with my bridesmaids and mother on the morning of my wedding on 7.7.22 we woke up to no running water in the villa, the only contact number we had for anyone in relation to the villa was the artisan resort nimber I contacted this number 3 times before I got an answer on the 3rd try I got an answer to which I was told “ stop calling every 5 minutes” I called every 5 minutes because it was an emergency and there was no other number noted to call in case of an emergency. I proceeded to advise the call taker of the problem she then asked me did the villa have running water last night I advised yes it did she then told me ok so it is not the villas problem? So who’s problem was this then? Ours the guests who had been here less than 12 hours? After a few phone calls we were advised to use house 7 shower but were warned if there is any mess atall it would result in money being deducted from our €300 deposit as they would need to hire a cleaner this really baffled me as how would it be our fault that we have to use the other house shower this is a fault of artisan homes so if any one has to pay a bill it should be them for not being able to provide a service that I have booked. Not only was there no water none of the lights upstairs in the villa worked so when we went to bed we had to sit in darkness whilst chatting. The girl who answered the calls advised there was local works which she was not aware of which resulted in the water being switched off if this was the case then the villa should never have been rented out to someone. On arrival on the evening of my wedding with my new husband we got to the villa at 12am where again we were greeted with no running water and no lights upstairs working. This stay was totally ruined and did not fulfil the stay we had booked. There was no apology when checking out nothing atall to apologise for the terrible stay we had.
