Sunrise Gardens Aparthotel

From the start staff excellent room nice the food could not fault every sitting superb and the portions wow the head chef vasileios theodorides put on the amazing food and all the staff in the restaurant could not be more helpful nothing too much trouble would return without hesitation

We were given a family room which is not part of the main hotel and 200mts up a small hill to the accommodation. This is not what a couple of over80yr Olds expected.The rooms were OK but for a family arriving there not a lot going for it,no tea towels,no dish cloths no condiments whatsoever and not even a mop or brush and dust pan.The beds were very comfortable and the linen changed each day.The food wasn't up to much,very little choice and some not cooked to a decent standard.What it did have was very good staff,3 nice pools and a very good position for getting round.

We found the staff of the Hotel very kind and always available for everything. We haven't liked so much the idea to make entertainment like Bingo during the Dinner. The food quality and the service was excellent. The room were very clean and also the bathroom.

(Room 108) June 13th to 27th This was our first time at Sunrise Gardens but we have been to Protaras many times, even stopped at the Sunrise Beach many years ago. But this small hotel offers much more than large hotels can and as many reviewers have said its the staff that make all the difference they all have a smile and are exceptional at their jobs. The food is very good didn't eat in any other restaurant no need to. Rooms where very clean the beds where comfy, our sheets where changed 3 times in our two week stay. If you arrive late and we did you can get water or food just down the strip and turn first left down to Zorbas Bakery its open 24hrs a day great for drinks and snacks, stay at this hotel and you will not be disappointed, we weren't and thankyou Sunrise Gardens for our memorable stay.

Dear diary, I don't even know how to describe the sadness and longing I feel every time I leave this hotel, and this is the fifth year in a row. There may be hotels in Protaras with more stars or amenities, but none can replace the intimate atmosphere here, the employees are smiling and always helpful, and then there is Ilias who became my first Cypriot friend, the nicest person I have met here, and always willing to help and make my stay easier. The ladies at the reception are wonderful and can communicate in several languages. The hotel manager is mega nice, caring, generally the right person in the right position. And now to the specifics, the hotel has two large swimming pools and a paddling pool for children, which are cleaned daily. The rooms are large, and from the third floor upwards they offer a beautiful view of the sea, there is also an additional building where there are apartments with kitchens, and a gym. The hotel does not have all inclusive, which in my subjective opinion is better, because the hotel restaurant also offers lunch during the day. Breakfasts and dinners are served buffet style, where everyone will find something for themselves, really everyone, additionally twice a week you can use two external restaurants, so in my opinion it is a brilliant approach to guests. I really recommend it to everyone who wants to escape the hustle and bustle of large hotels. I have already traveled half the world in different circumstances, but Sunrise Gardens is a place where I will always want to come back. I will not write about Protaras itself now, because you simply have to come here...

From the minute we arrived at this hotel we received a lovely welcome and we met the most loveliest staff! The food is excellent and there was always plenty of choice, especially loved the Greek restaurant! Big shout out to Petroula at the pool bar nothing was a problem for her (great asset to the hotel) also a shout out to Himal lifeguard during the day and then working in the Greek restaurant at night, very helpful and he was always very happy, overall Great hotel,Great staff ,Great location. We would highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely return! Thank you all so much
