Despite the (limited) sea view, our suite and external seating area had no direct sun which was disappointing. The spa was disappointing with the Thalasso journey given a quick overview and then left on our own. One of the treatments taken was not really as described. Food at the buffet was fine at breakfast time, but in the evening was a bit of a scrum with food often lukewarm and reheated after pre-cooking. Check-in was quick and simple but basic, with no welcome after a long journey.

We booked as part of a Tui package and we chose the Sunrise Pearl because of it's excellent Tripadvisor reviews. Location is first class, being near the centre of the town, yet with access straight onto the beach. The evening buffet was excellent (we were half-board) and all the staff were superb. Lots of choice for breakfast. Evening entertainment was courtesy of the hotel next door which is accessed through the garden (it's part of the same group) but we remained at the Sunrise Pearl because we just wanted to relax quietly instead. Our sea view room was clean and spacious with excellent facilities. Sun-loungers are allocated when you first visit the beach. We weren't keen on the initial choice of position, but it was straightforward to get a better one the next day when other guests had departed. All-in-all, a most enjoyable stay.

Well located hotel on the Protaras strip with access to the beach promenade. The ability to chose sunbeds which are then yours for the duration of the stay is a great idea - saves having to get up early to reserve beds. Room was lovely and clean with a stocked mini bar on arrival and water replenished each day. Turn down service in the evenings with extra towels provided if needed. Half board dine around was excellent and for a change you can swap dinner for lunch by the pool instead. All a la carte restaurants were great with plenty of choice and good sized portions. Local bus stops are close to the hotel with buses running at all times including a direct service once a day to Nicosia. The only downside was the buffet restaurant. Breakfast was ok but the one dinner we had on our arrival was nothing special and it would be great if the dine around could be used from the day of arrival rather than the next day.

Stayed on the 6th November 24 for 1 week in a Deluxe room with sea view, Room 220, through Jet 2 on a Bed and Breakfast basis. It was the first time we have stayed at the Sunrise Pearl and it was amazing. All of the hotel staff were so friendly and helpful and a credit to the hotel. The hotel and our room was kept immaculate,with little touches like free daily bottles of water and chocalates left at night. We also received a complimentary spa session. When we go back to Protaras we will definitely book the Sunrise Pearl again.

Could not fault this at all. Really good helpful, polite staff What we found great about this was the fact you are allocated a sun bed & that is yours for the duration of your stay. Cuts out everyone reserving beds at early dawn & not using all day. Food excellent with a good variety. Brilliant location central for everything. We would go again in a heart beat.

The most prestigious in Protaras The best option in Protaras. The hotel is stunning, full of swimming pools, 7 restaurants (included in the half board base). Excellent breakfast. The beach - the best in Cyprus. The staff is very helpful and happy to help and solve any problem. Plenty of free parking in the hotel parking lot.

Ok thanks to one person. Otherwise just meh! Peter the luggage Porter made my stay as he remembered me from previous visits whereas the remainder of the staff didn’t/or couldn’t be bothered. Tbh that was the attitude from staff all round. A CBA attitude!

Fantastic Stay at Sunrise Pearl Hotel & Spa Fantastic hotel right on the best beaches in Cyprus. Friendly and very caring staff. They know how to treat their guests and thus made my stay her superb. The only reason I did not rate this 5 stars is for 2 things. 1) Air conditioner in room was not strong enough and 2) bath tub was a bit difficult to enter. I would prefer more of a walk-in in bath.

Best holiday ever, best view and breakfast ever. Fantastic hotel. Amazing breakfast. Excellent view and staff service. The location is beyond expectations. We should have stayed for full board is the only regret as the food in the nearby restaurant is not good. It is worth every penny. Very relaxing atmosphere.
