"We booked this hotel based on its 4-star rating, but unfortunately, it did not live up to our expectations. During a storm, the roof leaked, and we were without hot water for 24 hours. The air conditioning worked intermittently, and when it did, it sounded like a jet plane. The rooms were also very damp. When we brought these issues to the manager's attention, she claimed they couldn't control the storm, but the real issue was the poor construction of the building. The breakfast was subpar, with flies landing on the food. Many items were out of stock, and they blamed it on waiting for deliveries. We had hoped for a more pleasant interaction and compensation for the inconveniences, but the manager was more concerned with having the last word and could benefit from a customer service course."

The location was very beautiful, including the garden and the place where breakfast is held. Our room was perfectly clean and functional, the set including a toothbrush was much appreciated. From there, in twenty minutes on foot you can be anywhere on the island (eventually the bus stop is right next door)."

"I have just returned from six nights at the Solcalante Hotel. The hotel is in a beautiful position and has lovely views from the terrace overlooking the island of Ischia. However, it is totally let down by the management team. This hotel is run by those who are very lacking in any people skills. They are non- communicative and unfriendly. They did not even give us eye contact during our whole visit. Fortunately their staff were kind and hard working. Breakfast staff and cleaners were very helpful. They kept the rooms and pool clean and tidy. Two events were held at the hotel during our stay (without any prior warning) and we were asked to leave the pool for a private function. We were restricted from the bar area or able to sit on the terrace. ( reserved notices were left on all of the chairs/loungers). These parties were large and very busy and noisy. We felt we had to go out even though we had planned a quiet evening and to have dinner at the hotel. There is only one restaurant in walking distance from hotel. ( 10mins walk). The events were on Saturday 14th ( 4pm-very late) and on the Tuesday ( 12-6). When I complained to one of the management team he was very rude and said “We had only booked a room at the hotel not a pool”. This was totally incorrect, we booked bed and breakfast with all the amenities the hotel has to offer. I am 68 years old and my husband and I have extensively travelled. We have never come across this bad attitude before. Also the hotel advertises having a sauna and massage services, there were no evidence of either. Also the solarium is a neglected empty roof space over the hotel rooms."

The room was minimal but clean and had everything I needed. The staff were helpful and gave some great local tips. A very peaceful place to enjoy Procida. "

"Valitettavasti huone oli aivan erilainen kuin odotimme. Kuvia ******* näyttää paljon paremmalta kuin omaisuus itse todellisuudessa. Ulkona oli hyvin huono ylläpito, likainen ja turha. Huoneen sisällä olevat huonekalut olivat hyvin perustavanlaatuisia, vanha vaatekaappi, joka haisti huonosti, perusvuode ja sohva, jossa oli peite. Ei paljon rehellisempää. Myös kylpyhuone ei ollut riittävän puhdistettu ja kattokulmat olivat useita äyriäisiä. Ainoa korostaminen on varmasti sijainti, melko keskipiste ja lähellä rantaa. En suosittele tai harkitse uudelleen."
