An amazing cottage situated just outside the centre of Prince Albert, with excellent facilities and the bonus of having a restaurant next door run by our hosts. Very quiet surroundings and a beautiful view over the mountains.

We had an absolutely delightful stay at the Karoo Masterclass house. We were a family of eight, from 17 to 85 year olds, and everyone had a great time! It’s very well equipped, with everything we needed and much more. We “braaied”, cooked, swam, chatted, watched sport and just relaxed. There are many spaces to be around the property so we didn’t feel cramped or in each others way at all. We could walk to many of the main road attractions and we enjoyed the market. The staff were great too. We can heartily recommend this accommodation.

We really enjoyed our stay at Karoo View. Stunning location and near the central town area close to the shops & restaurants. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable with everything that you could possible need...a home away from home. The gardens are also so beautifully done & the view is lovely. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend it to anyone passing that way.

Beautifully appointed and perfect for four couples with kids. Prince Albert is a Karoo town worth seeing. Lazy Lizard for brunch and a movie in the showroom is a must

The 8 sleeper at the Karoo cottages is outstanding. With the main house having lots of space, a well equipped kitchen, pool, green garden and air con in every room you cannot help but be comfortable. The house is serviced every day by a cleaner and the hosts were very responsive and the communication was excellent. Be aware that the house sleeps 6 and there is a separate cottage that sleeps two with its own bathroom.

What a spot - everything was fantastic. Beautifully appointed rooms, lovely surroundings, great view, and the little Boma with a braai and pool was to die for. Loved the stay, and the restaurant was delightful. Staff - brilliant. Washed our cars and ironed our clothes. My family and I could not have been happier. I'll be back.

We had a lovely stay of two nights. Loved that we were a little out of the village but very close. View from bedroom to 'hills of the Karoo' was peaceful and pretty. Host, very obliging. Enjoyed that we had everything needed in the room, such as tea, coffee, rusks.

Karoo View Cottages are a great place to stay on the edge of the Great Karoo and at the foot of the Swartberg Pass . very rustic but also very comfortable. Howard the owner is very easy going and friendly. your own wood fired hot tub outside. when the restaurant is open you must go , terrific wood fired braai options of Karoo lamb and fish. I highly recommend it.
