Check-in was quick and easy. Walking to the lift, I noticed the clutter around the ground level which was rather unsightly. Got to the room and was disappointed. Booked 2 rooms with sea view. Got 1 room with a swamp view and the other is the view of rooftops. The window ledge and air-condition compressor had mounts of bird poop. Unsightly and unsettling. Plus is that the beach is just across the road and they have parking.

We stayed in two rooms at Golden Beach Boutique Resort, one of which had a sea view. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the daily cleaning service was excellent. However, the price for the sea view room felt a bit high considering the location. The breakfast was below average, so we opted to buy breakfast from street vendors or at the nearby Seven Eleven. The reception area was somewhat cluttered and could be better organized. The hotel is located right on the beach, with only the main road separating it from the shore. The area features 5-6 restaurants serving good Thai food, but there are few other accommodation options nearby. Overall, it was an okay stay, but there is room for improvement.
