Kyriad Prestige Amiens Poulainville Hotel and Spa

France RoadTrip (2025) They say first impressions count... I chose the Kyriad in Poulainville based on the hotels proximity to Amiens. When arriving it was a number of minutes before the reception staff answered the bell which I had to hit twice for attention. As this was a Road Trip, I had a number of bags and asked if a luggage trolley was available to be told not by the chap on the front desk. (See final words) We were then told the restaurant next door was closed but food was available to be ordered and either delivered to the hotel breakfast area or the room. The Breakfast Buffet was good, although attention to small details could have been better. Refilling of food items was slow and I had to ask for support. Nice to see Smoked Salmon as an option to Sausages and Bacon available. The room was excellent although I had booked a room with walk in shower and corner bathtub. Pillow choice was also good between traditional soft and firmer memory foam. The TV only had limited stations and no International channels worked, On Check-Out the receptionist was more on the ball. He advised in fact that a luggage trolley was available but at this time I had already moved the bags to the car as taking a number of trips. City Tax was requested upon Check Out which was unusual in France as normally requested upon Check-In So the question I always ask myself, would I stay here again? Undecided... The Room was Excellent, The Service was a mixed bag...

Très bon accueil, chambre confortable, le tarif de 150€ sans frigo, sans chaînes internationales et sans piscine dans l'hôtel mérite davantage un 3 étoiles et non un 4. De plus il n'est pas mentionné qu'une réservation doit être faite pour une heure d'accès pour la modique somme de 50€/pers/h. Petit dej classique. En bref un hôtel un peu cher pour une nuit d'escale où l'on aurait aimé se reposer après une journée de visite d'Amiens.
