"The room was so so even though decent and large spacious room , the AC did not work . Made for poor sleeping conditions . There should be a shuttle bus from the hotel to the marina . At the price we paid there should be transportation offered for free like the competitors . Instead of having to walk long winding road or steep stairway that is half km long . "We just returned from a trip to Positano. We considered staying at Hotel Poseidon and decided to stay at Hotel Punta Regina instead since the rooms at Hotel Regina looked larger. We LOVED Hotel Regina! The hotel had a great location for us, it was super clean, intimate, spacious room, the staff was wonderful and the roof top pool was lovely. It was also right down the street from one of our favorite restaurants - Mediterraneo. Francesca at the front desk was LOVELY - warm, inviting and very helpful. The waiters at the rooftop bar/dining spot were all wonderful and extremely welcoming. The day we rented a boat, we walked up to the rooftop to get a coffee to go. Without saying anything, one of the waiters recognized what we were doing and handed me a white to-go bag. He instructed me to fill it with breakfast items while he made my cappuccino to go. He then filled a plastic container with fresh fruit for us and placed it in another to go bag. While the location worked for us - it is a lot of steps to get to Spaggia Beach (roughly 397). For us, it served as our daily exercise and allowed us to eat all the pasta and treats we wanted guilt free. We cannot wait to go back! Thank you, Francesca and all Hotel Regina staff!"

"Sijainti on sataman vieressä, yö on baari, joka kelpaa aamulla klo 23.30, ja laiva on balkonilla. Huone on kuitenkin suuri, ehkä koska se on hotellin paras huone, balkon kylpy on enemmän kuin kelluu, ei ole mitään järkeä. Huoneen sisällä on vanha ja yksinkertaista tilaa, ei ole ilmaista kaivosvettä, hiekkahuone on hieman huono, hotellin pitäisi olla vuosikausia. Hotellissa on kolme ravintolaa, aamiainen on yksinkertainen ja ei ole mitään syötävää. Pizza on myös hyvin yleinen ja pizzakaupan palveluhenkilöstö on erittäin huono asenne. Pääravintola on hyvä maku ja palveluala on innokas.Reception palvelija on myös hyvä, yleisesti ottaen liian vanha."

Positano is very small, and two nights is enough. The overall price of this place is very high. The room layout should be different for each room type and when booking. "The view from the hotel balcony was unbeatable, which was what attracted me to the hotel. However, other aspects were quite disappointing. The room facilities were outdated, and the shower was so old I couldn't even wash my hair. Breakfast was served by room service, the selection was meager and the food was unappetizing; fruit required an extra charge. The location required taking a bus to reach the town center. The landlord initially quoted an outrageous 50 euros for parking, but we ended up finding a designated blue line parking spot ourselves. Having traveled to Sorrento, compared to other hotels of the same star rating, the hotel price was definitely inflated; it would only be worth considering if it were at least 50% off."
