Premier Inn Portsmouth North Harbour

I booked this hotel, as I was arriving late in the evening. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The room was perfect, clean, quiet, spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Free parking. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

I am writing to address an issue with a recent reservation cancellation and subsequent refund request. Due to the cancellation of the Great South Run, I had to cancel my stay scheduled for October 19th. On that day, I called the Premier Inn customer support line at approximately 12:30 pm to request the cancellation. The agent I spoke with assured me that the reservation would be canceled and that I would receive a confirmation email shortly after. However, I never received any such email. It has now been ten working days, and I still have not received my refund. Today, I attempted to follow up by calling the support line, hoping to resolve this matter promptly. Unfortunately, I was met with an unhelpful response, confusing explanations about department availability, and ultimately, the call was disconnected by the agent. This experience has been disappointing, and I am concerned by the lack of support and communication. I can not, recommend Premier Inn.

Just lovely staff. Clean comfortable and large room. Good value. Free WIFI works but is slow. Simple things such as the windows actually open and sheets are real cotton are pleasing. Decent shower and bettter towels than I would have hoped for at this price. Proper kettle in room and good tea and coffee. No fridge.

An enjoyable 6 night stay. Standard room was clean, bed was comfortable and having a bathtub was a bonus. Couldn't fault the Beefeater for breakfast, an excellent variety. Full English was always hot and the staff worked very hard. Only slight negative was the carpets could have been swept after guests had finished their food and left. Reception staff were also helpful and professional.

Hotel has all the basics you would expect from a premier inn hotel, EXCEPT the meals - AWFUL!!. I would recommend you stay away from from the Beefeater next door which is where their meals are served, ESPECIALLY if you are vegan/vegetarian. NO CONSIDERATION whatsoever for dietary requirements, cross contamination of food via utensils. DISGUSTING crockery, cutlery - had to wash ours before using. Very rowdy on the 2 nights we stayed

The staff were amazing - so friendly. The room was fine - clean, modern, comfortable bed. The issue is that the room is not soundproof and the noise from the room above was dreadful even though all they were doing was waking around - sounded like a herd of elephants.
