Отель в составе группы LifeClass располагает несколькими бассейнами с морской водой, двухэтажным сауна-парком и собственным wellness центром, где медицинские работники рады оказать вам свои услуги. Пляж Медуза в пешей доступности, но необходимо преодолеть несколько лестниц. Вход бесплатный, но лежак и зонтик оплачиваются вами на весь день (2 лежака+ зонт летом 2024 года стоят 20€) Номерной фонд новый, матрасы удобные, кондиционер работает исправно. Завтрак обильный, но несколько однообразный: в целом, есть и овощи, фрукты, холодные закуски, молочка и мясо.

Large rooms, not far from the beach (we had room with sea view). Pools and sauna park are at the Terme Portoroz. Breakfast could be a little bit better but the staff is kind. Parking is nearby against surcharge. A huge selection of massages and treatments.

Posizione dell’Hotel ottima, camere pulite e spaziose ma buffet colazione e cena deludenti, soprattutto per quanto riguarda la varietà e la qualità dei prodotti. Bisognerebbe anche rimodernare un po’ l’Hotel. Spa e piscine termali molto buone!!!

Non ci siamo proprio. L’hotel è molto scomodo dal punto di vista logistico per chi ha bambini, ci sono molti scalini da fare per raggiungere le camere e in certi punti l’ascensore non arriva. Anche raggiungere le terme non è così intuitivo e abbastanza distante dalle camere. Le camere sono vecchie, sporche (moquette macchiata in modo molto evidente in più punti), il bagno senza finestra non ha nemmeno una ventola, i servizi in generale sono davvero basici, nulla più di un tre stelle. La luce in terrazza rimane accesa tutta la notte senza possibilità di spegnerla, per cui in camera non è possibile avere buio. Perlopiù le tende “oscuranti” non fanno per nulla il loro lavoro quindi appena sorge il sole siete invasi dalla luce. Abbiamo chiesto una camera familiare essendo in tre e ci è stata assegnata una camera con due letti singoli attaccati più un divano….anche no. La colazione e la cena (per cui si paga 21€ a persona bevande escluse) non sono di qualità e c’è davvero poca scelta. Per quel prezzo avrei cenato fuori da qualche altra parte. Unica nota positiva del weekend è stata la vista mare.

Check-in is in the neghbouring Apollo and was, shall we say, unenthusiastic. Was told no parking space available, the "bell hop" would guide me to the parking 2km away for free. I assume driving while using your phone is legal in Slovenia? No? In retrospect, it was the transfer that was free not parking. Using the hotel as a base to explore the region, I wasn't going to go through the inconvenience of this every time so I found a place behind the hotel (Parkirišče Vila Marija at €18/day - cash only, takes up to €50 notes, change in coins). Then we were directed to our rooms - up the steps, behind the bar, past the play area, through the doors and down the corridor. Who cares if we had 3 heavy suitcases? Where was the "bell hop" now? The lift serving 5 floors is miniscule and we frequently slogged up the stairs in the heat rather than wait or share with malodoured fellow guests. Reviews describe rooms as tired or dated - the decor was a bit mediocre and dated but overall were very clean and bright and beds comfortable and the shower very good, if dimly lit. Aircon struggled with 30 degree heat. Breakfast (avoiding the lift down to -1) wasn't great for a vegetarian. Cereals with chocolate, croisants and pastries that never felt 100% fresh, coffee from a machine that was certainly instant. OK juice. Eggs looked unapealling. Definitely not 4*. And the vultures (staff) zooming around grabbing any plates, cups and utensils from tables, often before they were truly finished with! Reaching over your shoulder and, in once instance, standing on my foot. The whole fitness/wellbeing/spa/health thing is cosmetic. The website could be a load of AI generated mumbo jumbo for all its worth. Very few facts, such as the parking situation. Following the signs for the swimming pool took me all the way to Apollo reception where I was told, no, other way. I tried to explain I had followed the signs but she was adamant I was wrong, it was the other way. (I later realised there is a cordoned off pool entrance - that is what I had been following signs for) So I followed signs the other way down endless corridors, doors etc. Yes, the sea water pool was OK but nothing to write home about. If you want to take a robe to the pool it is €6. If you want to use the minibar fridge for yourself it can be "rented"! On checkout I was charged parking at €12/day before realising When I said we didn't park other than the first day she was adamant it was my fault for not telling them. Why would I when I hadn't been told the cost? Anyway, they refunded me in € cash - on my last day when I didn't need any more euros. Finally, wi-fi was poor. Definitley not a 4* experience and staff were unenthusiastic about everything. Except the cleaners who were friendly, even if they did knock the door to see if we really meant to not be disturbed, as per our door hanger!

A real nightmare with a parking space. The parking space is 2,5 km away from the hotel. You have to wait 15-40 minutes to get your car. Clean and tidy rooms. Food was ok. Nice location of the hotel.

Nice big room with comfy bed and pillows. Big bathroom as well. They could change the towells every day, which they don't. Warm hanger for towells is very small so we couldn't dry them from one day to another. They also don't provide you with extra towells for pools/saunas. Food in general is well prepared and tasty. I missed a bit more of diversity but most of the things I tried were good. Breakfast was pretty much standard selfservice. Per request they also provided gluten-free bread. Location is a few minutes walk up the hill from the beach, but since you can use other Lifeclass hotels which are all connected via hallways and elevators you can simply use that instead of walking up the hill. Pools are all with warm sea water. Surface/tiles by the pool were often very wet and slippery, so be careful about that. I tried to go the sauna but it was closed, without any signs or anything. Girls in the animation team were excellent. Kids really enjoy it there and they make them feel welcome. They are chatty and very friendly. We loved it. Biggest downside was PARKING, which is the only reason I gave Neptun 4 stars. They offer no free parking, eventhough they do have parking space across the road for hotel guests where ramp opens with a coded armband. They charge you 5€/day. This was a huge letdown, considering its a 4star hotel. On top of everything, the parking space was fully packed the first day so I was driving around the Portoroz and couldn't find any free parking space. Then I went back to reception desk and complained. Then they let me into the private parkng lot which is reserved for management board. Still they charged me 5€.
