Ikos Porto Petro exceeded all expectations. The resort is beautiful and well-maintained, but what truly made our stay unforgettable was the exceptional service. Every staff member was warm, professional, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. From the restaurants to the front desk — flawless hospitality. Highly recommended!

Beautiful hotel with stunning sea views and exceptional service. Everything was perfectly maintained, from the stylish rooms to the relaxing pool areas. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional. Great food, peaceful atmosphere, and true luxury throughout. Highly recommended, we’ll definitely be back! ⭐️

The welcome at the hotel as we arrived was immense. The view is outstanding and the first impression was outstanding. No check in desks as such, but shown to a soft sofa and bought drinks as all the paperwork was completed. Rooms has been requested close to each other and this had been arranged. Unfortunately mum was ill during the stay, but the onsite doctor arrived at the room within 45 mins in the evening and understood her complex existing health needs as well as the issue at hand. Although it was a Sunday the next day, the prescription he wrote was collected by the bell boys at the nearest open pharmacy. We just asked where the nearest open pharmacy was and they just took the worry out of trying to find it by offering to collect and bring to us. The service was the best I have experienced. Laura at reception was super helpful and kind. The food was outstanding- I love a buffet as a vegetarian, as I can normally choose from a wide variety of food, but here there was a massive choice of food at all the restaurants. The quality of food was also the best I have experienced for a mass catering all inclusive. Minibar restocked daily with crisps and spirits. It was hard to get an early dinner reservation (6.30-7), so would recommend getting these arranged asap if that is a time you like. Tesla was available to use for free, although we didn’t do this. There were also free water sports. Pool was heated at this time of year and there were plenty of subbed. The adult area was pretty quiet. An adult pool wouldn’t go amiss though. Waiters were checking though the day if more drinks were needed. The gym was well equipped and well used. It was a bit bigger as a resort to what I imagined but there were chauffeur driven golf carts for times it seemed too far to walk. The beds were really comfortable and we all had a fantastic time. So much so we have just booked to go to Ikos Andalusia to try the next in the Ikos family.

We spent a week at ikos Porto Petro during May 2025. Its a stunning resort perched on the side of Porto Petro a small fishing village in the beautiful island of Majorca. This stunning all inclusive resort has everything you would expect from a five star resort and more. The setting is stunning and complemented amazingly by the beautiful aesthetics of the resort, the food the drinks and the staff are amazing. Can’t say enough about the staff they go above and beyond to help you with anything you need. If you stay more than five nights you get private transfer to and from the hotel, which may not sound like much, but it’s a lovely touch. Service at the poolside is amazing. You never have to move, food and drinks are brought to your side whenever required. Staff are so very attentive. You have an array of restaurants to choose from for breakfast lunch and dinner including a marketplace which is a buffet but beyond a buffet it is beautiful. Food in every restaurant is 2nd to none you have as much as you would like or as much as you can possibly eat, wines are carefully chosen for each restaurant to compliment the menu and the waiting staff are very knowledgeable in which wines to pair with your food. Lots of activities going on within the resort itself including water sports, gym, bikes, yoga , water aerobics et cetera, plenty to keep everyone entertained. So why did I only give it four stars? Well as a couple going, we felt it was more a resort based around families and therefore too many children running around especially in the evening . we went in May to avoid the school summer holidays, but even at this time of year there was a lot of children and a lack of adult only space which is a pity and maybe one of the reasons we don’t think we would return. A beautiful place, just too many families for us when we are seeking a quiet peaceful adult only experience.

It’s a great setting and simply beautiful… and even though the buffet needs to be looked at.. to have more choice and cooking stations so food is cooked fresh in front of you and is hot which is not the case now… the staff are amazing!! Specially Lydia who is part of the DLX team who was so professional and assertive, she done a great job in resolving and helping with the problems we had!! So thank god for Lydia!

My husband and I were here for 10 days at the start of May We enjoyed the holiday and had a better experience than at a previous Ikos (Dassia) Setting and Grounds Absolutely perfect . The location and grounds are beautiful. Many others have commented on this and I agree with their sentiments. We spoke with one of the gardeners and she genuinely took a pride in the landscaping. Room Our room was in one of the 4000 buildings. It was a distance from the main building, but this didn’t bother us. Indeed we could base most of our day activities in this area. Short walk to Fresco( mostly had our breakfast here) gym and adults pool Room had everything we needed. Restaurants We had pre booked 3 and then we were given a plan ( which included 2 dine arounds) We adjusted the plan to suit our preferences. Overall we both had expected the food to be of a higher standard . We were happy with the selection of wines on offer. In particular we enjoyed our pre dinner drinks at the Porto Petro Bar. We dined in the following : Seasons We dined here once ( and cancelled a future reservation). It was a cool evening and we were surrounded by noisy family groups ( small crying children). The food looked delicious but lacked flavour and was tepid. We didn’t realise until a few days later that apparently there was an adults only area, it would have been good to have been given the option. The Market Has an adults section in the evening , had a good selection of food with some items cooked to order. The view from here is wonderful. Oliva Food was ok but not exceptional ( had been recommended to us by other guests) . Ambience again spoiled by crying children. Beach club The first dinner here was lovely, food was fresh and hot . A subsequent meal was tepid as though it had been sitting on the pass for too long. Fresco We had the majority of our breakfasts here and they were always good. The dinners were generally hotter than in other restaurants. Ambience here again was spoiled by crying children. Another comment, the chairs need to have rubber caps on the feet to stop the annoying scraping sound when chairs are moved ( difficult to avoid ) Staff Everyone we met was very friendly and professional. Special mentions to Candi from guest relations who checked on us and showed genuine interest in our comments Also Pamela at the adults pool was very personable and attentive. Gym Yes, we are those people who went to the gym everyday ( I had knee replacement surgery in February and had to keep to my physio routine) There is a good range of equipment available and friendly staff. Padel : My husband put his name down for a game during our stay but despite reassurances by staff was never contacted . Spa : the Spa was OK but they need more towels around and amenities,(combs/shaving foam/razors) in the changing rooms, it was very bare.
