A premium quality authentic B&B experience in a delightful century old country home of wonderful character. Great hospitality provided by Roger and Lou. All our needs were anticipated and provided for. Opposite of the minimum cost bland service most hotels are providing.

gute Bewertungen haben uns am Ende unserer Great Ocean Tour in die Lorelei geführt und wir waren entzückt vom Charme des Hauses. Zwar erinnert alle Einrichtung an die Zeit der Errichtung, doch aller Komfort ist eigebaut worden und Roger ist ein wirklicher Gastgeber, der seine Gäste umsorgt - können wir nur weiterempfehlen!

We booked 2 rooms for a night. The beds were comfy. Atmosphere was great. Breakfast super. Not too crowded as it’s only 8 guests in total. Living room with large leather sofas is very cosy and comfortable. I can recommend grabbing a beer next to the fireplace and just have a slow evening.

Nous avons dû annuler le matin de notre jour d'arrivée. Très bonne communication avec l'hôte. Comme il a pu relouer nos chambres, nous avons été totalement remboursés : bravo pour ce professionnalisme.

What a gem of a place…. beautiful house and surrounds and so convenient to everything. The amenities were excellent as was the host Roger. He managed to be both unobtrusive and helpful so that we had privacy but assistance if /when required . The bed was beautiful and extremely comfortable. The extra touches including breakfast were equivalent to that of much more expensive accommodation. I cannot speak highly enough of this place and recommend anyone thinking of visiting Portland to use Lorelei B & B as a stop over.

I have just spent 3 nights with 3 friends (from Victoria and South Australia) at this beautiful 110 year old house. Our host Roger, was very obliging and friendly. Nothing was too much to ask. We each had queen size beds and ensuites. The cooked breakfast was well worth the small amount extra $$. Would most certainly visit again, should I be in Portland again.

Had another great stay here, this place is the way to go if you’re in Portland. Roger very accomodating after a hiccup occurred with our booking dates. Really appreciate the service & will be back. Thanks, Amanda & Peter from Brisbane.

Along with two work collogues we stayed tow nights at Lorelei Bed and Breakfast, we all really enjoyed it and the consensus was this B&B is to be recommended. It is well located, clean and comfortable. Great job Roger.
