Great location, can walk to waterfront, right in shopping area, beautiful spacious, quiet, clean loft, all amenities included. Will certainly stay again. Metered parking up front free overnight, pay at 9am

The location is perfect and the layout of the loft is very comfortable. There were a few cleaning issues (crumpled tissue on the counter in the master bath, dried food smear on the coffee table) otherwise it was very comfortable. The staff was very apologetic for forgetting to have ice in the freezer even after I requested it through three separate contacts (I needed it for my post-op knee). Overall very nice.

Very comfy bed, big clean apartment-type room, good noise protection and was super close to all the shopping and many restaurants etc. Overall I loved my stay and will definitely stay here again. Things to be aware of: 1) You have to download an app to use as your room key for the weekend. 2) We did not pay for parking and just used local garages and street parking and it was fine. 3) There are three different buildings that make up the Docent's Collection, so you may not be in the same building with another group you are traveling with if you book separately. Maybe that can be arranged if you call ahead though?

Everything was great except that there were only coffee pods for a drip coffee maker and no machine for the pods. We asked about this and were told they weren’t able to get their usual ground coffee and that someone would come by with a filter in the morning and we could dump the coffee from the pods into the drip coffee maker. That no one was able to buy ground coffee and leave it in the room or alert us in advance so that we could bring our own is very poor customer service. In addition, the bedside alarm was set for 6am (not by us) and went off. Housekeeping should be instructed to turn off the alarm when they clean.

We really enjoyed our stay in Portland all thanks to the Docent Collection. Their accommodations are spectacular and we wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again.

Our loft was impeccable: clean, well-equipped, comfortable, in an unbeatable location for popping in and out to the best of Portland’s restaurants and some fun shopping. Maybe most of all I appreciated our own stylish living room with its huge windows looking out over the Old Port, where we could lounge around in our jammies and catch eachother up on our lives since grade school.

Awesome, clean place in great location! Love the furniture and amenities, host is helpful and quick to respond. Elevator entrance is perfect. Loved the shuffleboard! 2nd time here and will be back in the future
