The friendliness and local knowledge of the Owner Mark. The location, half a mile from Tremodog town square . The magnificent gardens and grounds. On site car parking. The excellent quality of the breakfasts. The spacious bedroom and very comfortable bed. The peaceful ambience of this beautifully furnished grand house. The five star restaurant (book early) and 2 pubs in Tremadog. The magnificent sights of northern Wales and Snowdonia.

We had a most enjoyable stay. The room was spacious and spotless. Breakfast was lovely and probably far too much. Mark was a very kind and gracious host and we would stay again.

What a stunning place to stay and the scenery was amazing. The room decor was exquisite. Mark was a warm and welcoming host. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Really enjoyed our one night here in June. Mark was very welcoming. The bed was really comfortable and the views were wonderful. Breakfast was delicious. We stayed here as a stop over before we headed to the Holyhead ferry the next day which is only about an hours drive away and I'd definitely do this again. It would also be a lovely place to stay for longer to explore the area.

Our 3-day stay at Plas Tan-Yr-Allt was magical. We arrived during the fantastic warm weather earlier this month, with the Hotel’s beautiful gardens looking glorious - the sweeping view from our room (Miss Hilda’s) with the Cob in the background was sublime. We were made so welcome throughout our visit, with every detail designed to ensure our comfort. Breakfast was beautifully prepared and cooked, brought to us by Mark, who was a wonderful host. We were genuinely sad to leave and hope one day to return to this exceptional place.

An absolutely stunning house surrounded by nature with a wonderful welcome from Mark and Howard. The information buttons placed around the house gave a brilliant insight into the history of the house and the surrounding areas. Our room was stunning! Clean, quiet and extremely comfortable! My gluten allergy was very well catered for and the breakfast was delicious. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic house in amazing location. We needed to switch off for 3 days and this was the perfect spot. Feeling fragile on arrival the cream tea, the views, the superb room, and the hospitality of Mark and Howard helped us to have a relaxing adventure. We found nearby pubs and restaurants, incredible views and our hosts were a wealth of knowledge about the area. We can’t wait to go back. Thankyou.

Wow, wow, wow. After months of hospital appointments, procedures and major surgery we felt we needed a couple of days away before my chemotherapy started the week before Christmas. We were welcomed so warmly into this amazing house that has been so tastefully restored incorporating the fascinating history of the house and its former owners. The four poster bed was beyond comfortable and everything in the room oozed luxury. It really was the tonic we needed. The breakfast choices were perfect and adjusted for personal choice. I cannot recommend this property enough and we are looking at dates when we can return in the near future. Without sounding like a cliche, we arrived as strangers but left as friends.
