This room was clean and nicely decorated. The view was the best we had during our nine days of travel. But the communication with the nonexistent front desk (contactless entry) was most frustrating. The room had no toilet paper and no shower gel. When I sent an email to the contact listed, I received an auto-reply that she was unavailable for the next 60 days. When we checked out, I sent an email (in response to their email asking for “anything we could do to improve the guest experience”) suggesting that they contact their guests 30-45 minutes after they enter their room, to inquire if everything was acceptable in the room. They responded with a most condescending message, suggesting there were multiple ways for me to contact them. The implication is that I am responsible for making sure their room is properly cleaned and stocked, including toilet paper and shower gel?
