Great location in Port Douglas Was in a great location for visiting Port Douglas and the surrounding areas

Not great The apartment was OK, but honestly I was a little disappointed. It is more of a motel style apartment complex than a resort. The photos look great, but they don't reflect how small the apartment really is. The kitchen could only fit one person, and it wasn't fitted out well. The pans were very limited and warped on the bottom so they didn't make contact with the stove. The saucepan provided was tiny. Only one side of the toaster worked. There was no water jug in the fridge. The plates don't match and don't fit into the tiny sink. Honestly, it all seemed a bit thrown together without much thought. Most of the apartment was acceptably clean - the bathrooms etc. But the inside of the cupboards in the linen closet and the bedrooms were dusty and grimy. The dishes in the cuboards were obviously dirty and had to be rewashed before we could use them. The linen was in very good condition, although only a blanket was supplied instead of doonas. The air conditioning was great. The pool is lovely, and very warm. The hosts were friendly. Would I stay there again? Probably not. There has to be better out there.

Really liked staying at Lychee, older but renovated apartments. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment and found them well fitted out with everything we needed for the week we were there. Pool and BBQ area good and was never busy when we were there. Bit of a walk into town but easily doable.

A nice apartment I can definitely recommend

Even though it was quite a walk from the motel into town it was tidy except for the dust and previous customers hairs piled up behind the bathroom door ...looks like they don't clean or mop with bathroom door shut after people leave. We looked past that and enjoyed our stay, which was over all pleasant as were the staff.

Stayed here with my wife. We were in apartment 24 which we were really pleased with. It's first floor with parking directly underneath. Nice balcony overlooking the pool. The apartment itself was well appointed and very nice. Pool was lovely. The place was quiet despite quite a few people here - the pool was never crowded at all. Nice BBQ facilities. Whole thing very good indeed. My wife and I stay in a lot of places and this is one we would most definitely come back to. Highly recommended.
