OMG! Definitely not a good experience with this property, booked them for 2 nights, 6 rooms for my family checkin. Here are positives and negatives from my personal experience; Positives: (very few) Staff like Prasenjit and other one on night duty are open to feedback and would like to serve guests in their own capability. View from Level 4 is nice. Negatives: (read the list) We reached at 1pm, rooms were not ready. Checkin time is 11:30am. We went to have lunch in their restaurant, waited for 15 minutes, no one came to take order, got to know they were under staffed, we realised and went to Annapurna by cab. When we checked in again after coming back from Neil Island, staff apologised for last experience and assured they would serve us better this time. Again went for Dinner at the restaurant at 8pm, no table was available. Staff assured us to wait in the rooms, they would arrange and call us. At 09:20 pm they told us to visit some other place as they cant serve us. (Port Blair, every place gets close by 09:30pm and they kept us waiting from 08 till 09:20 and we were travelling with seniors and kids - imagine) Service levels are horrible. Breakfast is at floor 4 and kitchen at floor 1, lift works so slow and your breakfast experience can never be good. Every other guest was either waiting for food or complaining. Rooms are just basic, furniture is not polished, washrooms are small, showers leak. Not a good experience by any standards. Please look for other options in Port Blair.

If there are any minus star options i will go for that ..I would not stay in driftwood even if it is free the staff is very rude except for the night staff who is the only sensible person in the whole building the room and washrooms are very smelly and dirty the food is very unhygienic they do not provide any kind of room service even after constant reminders

Drift wood hotel was neat and hygiene enjoyed the beautiful top view restaurant and bar only one disadvantage which i faced in hotel was room no 103 faced electric shock in the shower complained given and they advise to switch off the ac and heater while using shower i expect they will allocate other room but they didn’t

We were in search for a property which should have a location within the city and should have greenery all around at the same time and we found driftwood we had a wonderful stay the rooms were nice and staff was really friendly. Choose to driftwood if you are staying at port blair

I had an amazing experience at hotel driftwood. From the moment i arrived, the staff made me feel truly welcome and took care of every detail with genuine warmth. The room was immaculate, and the service consistently exceeded my expectations. The personal touches and attentive staff made it clear they truly value their guests. I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone seeking exceptional hospitality. Will definitely return!

Had booked it for my parents they had a very good experience. If you visit andaman wit b your family and want to stay at port balir hotel driftwood is the best place to stay. Theres a bar in the hotel a special mention my parents loved it. Got my parents a room with good scenic view
