I’ve stayed at some nice, locally owned properties in Jamaica, (JOAO) so I know the kind of warm hospitality and thoughtful service that’s possible. Unfortunately, this location completely missed the mark. It was disorganized from the start, with little to no structure in place. While the on-site staff were kind and did their best, it was obvious that management was trying to run things remotely from the States and had no real handle on daily operations. That disconnect showed in everything from the check-in process to the overall upkeep and guest experience. This property might appeal to travelers just looking for a basic place to sleep, but even then, the lack of professionalism and proper amenities makes it hard to recommend. If you’re seeking comfort, service, or even just a sense of hospitality, this isn’t the place for you.
