Premier Inn Poole Centre (Holes Bay) Hotel

Great location for Poole and the Purbecks (Swanage, Studland, Wareham, etc). Friendly staff. Clean and fresh room. Good sized bedroom and bathroom. Good choice of food at breakfast, with lovely cheerful staff. Only complaint - only one pillow each; I like two! (I'm sure another would have been supplied had I asked).

I judge hotels and restaraunts by the bathroom first, then value and convenience. Mine was super clean and I loved the Bayliss and Harding bathroom soaps! Great value, comfortable clean with a very good full english breakfast. I will definitely by returning soon.

It's a nice view, over looking a quiet stretch of water with some pleasant walks and not too far from.a supermarket. The reception and breakfast staff were both very helpful and friendly. Particularly the reception who had to move us once. Our first room had a toilet that did not flush, but we were moved just along the hall quickly and efficiently. Our second room was missing a bath sheet that we did not notice till morning, again instantly fix by reception. The rooms were warm, comfortable with lots of power outlets for a modern traveller. Our only evening meal started with a list of off the menu items and was followed by the wrong order being delivered. They must have had a potato shortage because I never got many chips. At that point I thought the party turned away as we arrived because they were not staying in the hotel had an escape. Fortunately breakfast was much better. It was fresh and hot were it should be hot and cold when it should be cold. The only down point was the mushrooms were a bit dry.

I spent one night in the Premier Inn Poole Centre (Holes Bay) Hotel prior to doing a sporting event on the Purbeck Hills the following day - to save myself a 2 hour drive and early morning start. I checked reviews prior to booking and was a little concerned about some of the negative reviews for this hotel but booked it nevertheless for the location. On my arrival I found space in the car park near to reception and checked in using the automated machine as the lovely receptionist was checking another group in. My room was on the first floor, looking out onto the car park and the front of the restaurant. The room was as expected, lovely and clean, bath with shower over, tea/coffee etc. Comfy bed with choice of pillows - everything I would expect from a Premier Inn. During the evening I did hear sounds of people coming out of the restaurant and getting into a taxi but this was not late. I had a good nights sleep and was down for breakfast shortly after they started serving. Staff in the restaurant were helpful, showed me to a table and explained where everything could be found. Great self serve buffet cooked breakfast and plenty of coffee. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel - the only thing missing was an electric car charger in the car park at this time.

Checked in 5.45 is went to room which needs updating walls filthy! Dinner booked for 6.15. 45 mins wait for drinks never mind food! Waitress that took over serving us was great! Ordered drinks at bar around 9 only for my husband to find 2 fingernails in his pint, bar man didn’t apologise said and I quote “never had that before” went to room got bags and checked out never again will I book a premier inn. No refunds as hotels can’t do them and no one to contact at wknds come on Premier Inn get your act together

An emergency trip to Poole necessitated a room for the night. We arrived very late cat might to a warm welcome from the night shift. Really kind and friendly. One of our rooms (48) was extremely hot, 32.5°C, and when we asked whether another room might be available, they swiftly sorted things out and gave us the one remaining room. The following day we needed to extend our stay as our relative was undergoing emergency surgery. Again, everything was done with no fuss, for a great price, and the same rooms. Location was great for us, just a short drive from the hospital and plenty of free parking. Should we need to be in Poole again, this will be the first hotel we look at.
