I stayed there one night for a concert in Cardiff's Principality Stadium. From Cardiff Central it takes you 30 minutes to Treforest and then you need to walk about 15 minutes to get to the Guest House. Be prepared for the last bit up the hill. It is quite steep. If you get there by car you can park in front of the hotel. I had a single room which had everything you could ask for. They have a lounge with a TV where you can consume your food and drinks. Very friendly and warm welcome. You need to book a time for Breakfast. Breakfast is great. Homemade with love. You can feel that. All in all, it is a very nice charming place. Some might find it outdated.

We stayed at the Central Guest House in Pontypridd for one night as we were attending an open day at the South Wales University just a 5 minute drive from the Guest House. The Lady who owns and runs the Guest House was very friendly and helpful, nothing was to much trouble. The room was really nice clean and tidy. And we had a great night's sleep. Breakfast in the morning was really good, plenty of everything and very tasty, cooked to perfection. I would stay there again and definitely recommend this Guest House to anyone wanting to stay in Pontypridd.

Nice stay here for work last month. Was working nights but was well looked after by the staff. Comfy bed and a clean room. Useful parking on site, though your sat nav wants to take you up the hill round the back of the hotel - don't follow it! Thanks
