"For people who don’t rent a car, transportation is very inconvenient because the Shuttle Bus has fewer flights, especially on weekends! Second, there are no taxis! If you call a taxi by phone, it will be twice as expensive as calling one on the APP! One night in a hotel costs HK$1,000 HKD, but even taking a taxi out to the city already costs HK$400! Moreover, the facilities are relatively dilapidated and the pillows are relatively short! The only highlight is that the scenery is really beautiful! "

"Spent five days here as a couple.. just loved everything about it! Wonderful views, quiet, really clean & the most comfortable bed with top linen. Breakfast was spent on the patio and was just delicious. Such a great way to unwind and take in beautiful Madeira.. We ate in the restaurant two evenings & food was delicious. Drinks are so reasonably priced. But what made the stay so great was the wonderful staff, helpful & attentive :) Thank you… Be prepared for the hills, we enjoyed the walk down to the few local restaurants but it is a climb. Would definitely recommend & hope to return x"
