I stayed there for one night in Suite S2. Room is spacious and flooring and bathrooms renovated recently. It's neat and clean. The quality of bed sheets and pillows need's to improve. Unfortunately there is no mirror in the bathroom which made me run here and there in search of mirror and finally I could locate one by the side of the wardrobe where there is no light. The food quality and items are average and there is nothing exceptional. There is no choice during lunch and dinner. Dinner is buffet with limited items. Overall it's ok for a days stay.

Firstly Ponmudi is spectacular with the most amazing views. Arise early for the most incredible sunrise. Sadly the accommodation is awful. Shabby and dirty, very unkempt. Glad we only stayed for one night. Evening buffet meal was fine and reasonably priced

An old establishment with great view and excellent service. I wish the buildings and surroundings were maintained or managed bit better. The rooms were comfortable value accommodation, they need to replace the old white linen on beds. The views from our Chalets were exceptional with a mountain sunset. The winding roads through the rainforest was a nice experience. One notable aspect for the great service and staff were always willing to help.

This place was amazing!! We travelled to Trivandrum for a business conference and we researched for a quick getaway near by and we came across KTDC golden peak in Ponmudi. We were in touch with Prince shortly who recommended us a good room. We were blown away!!!! This room had the best view! We were so happy we got to stay here for 3 nights. Delicious food was available and the entire ktdc team felt like family in a short period of time!. We were a bit far from the city but we did not miss out on anything. Our driver Rajesh was arranged by Prince. Rajesh was so lovely! He gave us travelling tips and made sure we had good pictures and that we were comfortable at all times. We are already planning to go to KTDC golden peak again. Its so convenient to travel to from Maldives. And the cherry on top was the fact that Ponmudi hill was just 2ish kilometres away and we could visit anytime. But we ended up spending most of our time in front of our room cause the view was just breath taking. We were so happy up in the misty clouds! Thank you KTDC team. You are incredible

We, a family of 4, checked into 2 Hill View rooms for a night stay. First hiccup at the reception - my name was not there in the arrival list. They by giving the confirmation number they found my reservation somehow and allotted rooms. Only one person to carry luggage. It is a hilly area and our rooms were few steps away on an incline. We also helped carrying our luggage to the room. Rooms were good. neat bathrooms. We went to bed at 11PM and suddenly felt something biting us. Checked the bed and there were lot of ants under the blanket...no way we could sleep in that bed. Phone in the room was not working...walked to the reception and found it locked with no lights...knocked the door and someone answered. Initially he said there is none to change bedsheets...then he came to our room with someone to change bedsheets. When he found that there are ants on the cot as well they gave a different room for us which was a bit far away. We carried all our luggage to that room and it was a decent room though small. But next day found that heater was not working..and we checkout out...this was the story of our stay... Food average ...great location Not an experience that I wished for...but not surprised too.. kind of expected this from KTDC property

Pros 1. View of the cliff and valley 2. The mist 3. Super friendly staff- specially want to mention to Sobha from reception and Rejeesh from restaurant 4.Awesome food 5. Well maintained garden 6. Sunrise Cons Lack of maintenance. Need to replace carpets, door locks, and entire cutlery in the restaurant. Will surely return

We stayed at KTDC Golden Peak during August 2022. The resort can boast itself for it's ambience, the breath taking view, the salubrious climate and pristine locale. Though the rooms are clean, it needs maintenance. The blankets and bed spreads have to be replaced. The food is nice, but the dining area also needs maintenance. The customer service is also not good. We have to climb a lot of steps to reach our cottage. When we checked-in, no one helped with the luggage and we ourselves carried it all the way. If all the maintenance work is finished, the resort could be one among the few resorts that could make the stay more memorable. Our thanks to the Manager who put utmost efforts to cater to the needs of the customers. Apart from a few draw backs because of poor maintenance, it's a great stay engulfed amidst pristine nature where we can inhale pure air with a spectacular view of the hillocks and water bodies.
