Great family holiday. Only thing letting down Olivia is the food service in some of the restaurants. Food is excellent but some of the service e.g. showing to table but then taking 10 mins to bring menus, then taking 10 mins to order coffees, bringing cereal without any spoons, bringing bread but with no butter or jam, brining dinner menus instead of lunch menus. And having to chase things up e.g. asking for vegan butter 3 times with 3 different members of staff and didn’t arrive. The restaurant didn’t have any, even though they have a vegan section on the menu so they said they would need to ‘source’ from one of the other restaurants. In the end my wife walked out and went to the buffet 2 mins away as the kids were getting irritated with toast being on the table with no butter. Also always check orders as they quite often brought burgers with cheese on when we asked without (allergies), ham and cheese toastie without the cheese and came with cheese. If this was a one off I wouldn’t moan but was a daily occurrence. Yes it’s still early in the season but still no excuse, the service should be better in a 5 star award winning hotel. We did mention it to the manager and she appreciated the feedback and then checked in with us every couple of days! Tesla was great, kids pool great, what’s app service great, beach great, room service great, ordering drinks and food with QR code great! Would still recommend. Hopefully the service will pick up!
