Our holiday was perfect . I am sure we will come back next year . We find a perfect place for a perfect holiday with kind people , clean room and good food. An exotic place near the sea . It was a beautiful experience . Thank you for this unique experience

Before we book a holiday we always look in depth and read lots of reviews on TripAdvisor. On the whole the reviews were good, however I have seen the last few that are very bad ? all I can give is our personal account.... we travelled with our 19-year-old daughter so we all only used the adult pool (it seems the most complaints are coming from families with young children using the larger pool). The hotel was quiet, relaxing, friendly and the food was fresh, healthy and a good choice. The duplex split-level room was perfect for us with fabulous Aircon to return to. We had a wonderful time... agreed that some places could do with a little TLC but the location, views and peacefulness of everything more than made up for a bit of tired paint work...

Firstly, our hotel in latchi was completely different to how Jet2 had described on their website, we arrived to a torn, damaged and visually disturbing ‘family’ resort. When we did arrive and checked in at reception, we were given a stale sandwich to eat as it was late, however with my partner being vegetarian this left her hungry for the night as we were given no alternative. We were told there would be many a facility as described on the Jet2 website when looking to book here, we were told there would be entertainment at points throughout our stay, yet there was no entertainment in sight, you couldn’t even recognise the staff from the public as they were all wearing casual clothes to work, we were looking forward for day to day entertainment as described and had nothing of the sort. When we did finally get into our room, we discovered that our bed covers were filthy and had a number of holes in them? Surely this is not up to standard of a 4* hotel rated by jet2, we paid a lot of money for this and it was disgusting to see. Having had a terrible first nights sleep we then woke up and went to try out breakfast, this was at an extremely poor standard as they only provided limited options, again with nothing for vegetarians and a number of the hotel guests around us were angered by this. However worst of all was then we then came back to try out our lunch, half of this breakfast food had been reheated and sent out again for people to eat for their lunch, this was reheated meats that made myself ill for the next 2 days, how is this anywhere up to jet2 standards, being completely opposite of what was described on the website booking. This food was also the same options each and every day, leaving no variety for us and having to eat the same meal 3 times a day. Our room was also described to have facilities such as a fridge hairdryer iron and kettle, however we arrived to only see a dirty fridge that was not working. The kettle (that we had to go to reception and request) didn’t arrive until 2 days later, and did finally arrive covered in limescale, which obviously was not going to be used. This kettle also arrived with a European usb plug, however our room has British plugs so we were left unable to plug this in either way.. in hindsight this ultimately didn’t matter as the next problem we faced was the electrics not working throughout our stay, we were told this is because of the weather in the area but this was total nonsense as when the weather did get better these electrics continued to be faulty, this also being a danger hazard for us. We then woke up from our 2nd nights sleep to find that the rain has completely came through the hole in the bottom of the door and left the floor of our room completely covered in water, this in fault then completely ruined our week as our suitcase which had all our clothes in was soaked though, leaving our clothes soggy and unable to wear for the rest of the week. Myself and my family stayed here in October 2022. We lasted 1.5 days before asking to be moved to another hotel. The hotel is filthy, smells of sulphur, and the pool toilets of human waste. The food at lunch was consisted of raw chicken, chips and salad and much of the evening meal seemed to resemble the lunch menu reused in some form. We’re not fussy eaters, but draw the line at undercooked food, and reheated meat. The restaurant area resembled a school canteen. Definitely not what you’d expect from a 4*. Noticeably the guests are not eating in the hotel, we saw a lot of guests eating out in the evening. Not what you expect when you pay for All Inclusive. We chose to get away from the resort on the first evening after realising that much of the resort is in pitch black from 18:30. No outside seating, music, and the pool bar isn’t exactly welcoming. We had rain on our first afternoon - can’t be helped - and head back to the room for a siesta to be woken by the drip drip drip of rain coming in from the roof to the room, making a slip hazard - we used the bin to catch the drips after drying the floor. Thought we’d shower and get ready for the evening, to find the shower heads broken and has to be hand held to use, this lasted for one shower before the hot water ran out. The bathroom has no shutter, or blind meaning anyone can watch us shower. At this point we called reception for a new room, which they obliged, and we where then given a key that opened the new room, plus our old room! - how many others I dare to think, reception and maintenance didn’t believe us until we showed them. We slept with the door locked, and a chair wedged under the handle. The current room had no water until we got back after 22:00 and we could all finally shower after the day. The bathroom had a shutter, but has exposed electric wires coming from the mirror. We spoke to the Jet2 rep who met us the next day and subsequently moved us to another hotel which was a 3* but on a different level to the one we had left. The next day to our surprise, we ran into other guests from Latchi that had been moved to our hotel. Please do not waste your money visiting this hotel.
