Stayed in Plovdiv September 6th for 3 nights . Our flight was diverted to Sofia en route so we were late arriving at the hotel. My partner was waiting for me in Plovdiv and was very kindly given access to my room on my behalf (I sent ahead my booking information and ID). Pamela was very courteous in sorting parking for my partners car and giving him a guided tour of the hotel and its facilities. Yani(Slav?) welcomed my colleagues and I and proceeded to check us in seamlessly with no issues - it was appreciated after a long day working. The room (221) was simply stunning , quiet , clean and really well appointed. The lighting was great and had all the amenities of a 5* hotel. Great products , nespresso machine , fridge , bottled water etc. My room during my stay was serviced daily and with such great care and attention. The lady housekeeper works extremely hard in her role - thank you Breakfast was a great experience, the gentlemen working in there are very well trained and nothing is too much trouble for them. The breakfast has a small buffet but also an extensive a la carte menu too that you can order from. The coffee was wonderful as was the freshly squeezed orange juice The bellman Bashir was very smiley and always on hand to help - I hope he reads this and knows that he works very hard. Last but not least is Dimitir on reception. He is extremely competent and excellent at his job. Everyday he greeted us with a smile that was effortless and went above and beyond to check we were enjoying our stay in Plovdiv. One evening we were struggling to get a taxi and he called numerous companies to no avail. Finally a car arrived and he came out to talk to the driver and give him instructions on where to go. Really great service. You can tell that he is proud of his work and it really shows . Please congratulate Dimitir on a job well done This hotel is the best in the city by far - the service is great and the surroundings are beautiful . Cannot wait to return!
