HL Rondo Hotel

Ich habe nur einen kleinen Kritikpunkt: Die Akustik und Atmosphäre im großen Speisesaal ist nicht angenehm, da alle Wände kahl sind. Mit wenig Aufwand kann man hier nachbessern. Es wird einfach dem restlichen Hotel nicht gerecht. Ansonsten kann ich nur sagen, dieses Hotel setzt in Maspalomas neue Maßstäbe in Qualität und Service! Es wurde nicht nur renoviert wie viele andere Hotels sondern komplett grundsaniert und auf Neubau-Standard gebracht! Und ich weiß wovon ich rede - ich fahre seit 20 Jahren jedes Jahr nach Maspalomas und kenne viele Hotels! Hier ist richtig viel Geld reingeflossen. Ich möchte nur ein paar Highlights nennen: - das schnellste Wlan, das ich bis jetzt in Maspalomas hatte (Speedtest hat bis zum Anschlag angezeigt); perfekt um flüssig remote arbeiten zu können und Videocalls zu machen - das Fitnessstudio ist der Wahnsinn und für Hotelgäste kostenfrei (siehe "Stark Fitness Club") - am Pool gibt es ausschließlich bequeme Balibetten - Frühstück und Abendessen super abwechslungsreich und von sehr hoher Qualität (Brotauswahl wie in Deutschland mit Vollkornbrot usw). Das Abendbuffet kann man ggf. auch vor Ort noch für 25€ dazu buchen. - Badezimmer riesig und mit Doppelwaschbecken - am Nachttisch kann man zwischen mehreren Lichtstimmungen wählen und es gibt sehr gute Leseleuchten - Zimmer überdurchschnittlich groß - hinten raus zur Straße laut aber die Fenster sind komplett schallisoliert. Man hört gar nichts und die Klimaanlage ist sehr gut steuerbar - kostenloser Zimmersafe mit Innenbeleuchtung und groß genug für Notebooks - Wasserkocher, kostenloser Kaffee - sämtliches Personal macht einen glücklichen Eindruck und ist extrem freundlich usw. usw. usw.

Excellent hotel, everything was brand new and an impeccable standard. Particularly enjoyed the pool area and À la carte breakfast. Would recommend!

I loved this hotel! We had a deluxe junior suite with a garden view. We didn’t exactly get a garden view but we did overlook the garden of the place opposite! But! Let’s start at the beginning, the staff were very kind and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Every member of staff was smiling, they all seemed happy to be there and all engaged. That’s a big thing! The hotel is beautiful and so clean (except the spilt coffee on level 4 outside the lift which was weirdly there for our whole stay!). Our room was great. Loved the size of it and loved the beautiful balcony. We loved sitting on our balcony in the evenings with a bottle of wine! There’s a fridge and a kettle in the room but no coffee machine. The shower was excellent and the toilet had a soft close lid!! The breakfast offered a great choice which was all delicious including lovely smoothies which I was hooked on! They had an egg station also offering toasties and pancakes. The location was excellent and within easy reach of everything. The beach was a mile away, there was a courtesy bus from the hotel once or twice a day but we never used it. The YUMBO is 0.3 miles away and there are restaurants on your doorstep. Would I return? In a heartbeat!

Just returned from a ten night stay. What a lovely hotel. Spotlessly clean and fab modern rooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful, a credit to themselves and the company. Breakfast was fab. A good array of food. We particularly loved the hot food being freshly prepared rather than sitting in dishes keeping warm. The lovely young man who cooked the omelettes each morning was outstanding. Such a great pleasant attitude and always so polite and smiley. The pool area was great. We loved the comfy sun loungers and choice of seats. Bar area was good but generally very quiet. Often we would be the only two there but often had a nice chat with the staff. All in all one of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed in.

Ein sehr tolles Hotel. Beim Frühstück könnte es aber schon gerne etwas mehr Abwechslung geben. Tag ein Tag aus immer das selbe. Auch wenn das Angebot durchaus groß ist. Leider gab es auch keinen Bettbezug für das Federbett.Nur ein großes Betttuch zum uberlegen. Trotz mehrfacher Nachfrage keine Losung. Ich frage mich wie schlafen die Spanier in Gran Canaria? ohne Decke? Zimmer war aber immer tipptopp gereinigt ! Sehr gutes Housekeeping! Die Haken im Badezimmer sind leider nicht die besten. (Rund)Die Handtücher fallen immer runter. Beim Check in ein sehr freundlicher und herzlicher Empfang! Wirklich toll!!!! Beim Frühstück waren die Mitarbeiter durchweg super freundlich ! Und einer ist besonders herausgestochen! Ein etwas älterer Mann der in einer Geschwindigkeit und freundlichen Art unterwegs war! Was dieser Mann wegarbeitet das schaffen die meisten jungen Menschen nicht! Wirklich bewundernswert! Ich hoffe solche Mitarbeiter werden besonders wertgeschätzt von ihrem Arbeitgeber Es scheint im Hotel wirklich ein sehr gutes Arbeitsklima zu herrschen. Alle sind mit Freude bei der Arbeit. We arrived to a wonderful warm welcome at reception and given a glass of Cava. The hotel reception area is bright and airy and has undergone a refurbishment. We had a superior junior suite room which was a nice size and well appointed. There was ample wardrobe space with lots of hangers. There were no drawers in the room, but there were lots of shelves in the wardrobe area to put your clothes. The bathroom had a double sink and the shower was very good. The balconies are lovely and it was nice to sit out on. Our room was very well insulated and we didn’t hear any noise during the night. Slept well. The maid service was excellent and we received clean towels every day if we had used them. Our room was kept beautifully clean. We were bed and breakfast and the breakfast was ample and fresh. It never felt crowded. The egg chef in particular was so friendly and smiling and would prepare anything you asked for fresh. There was none of this lots of eggs and bacon and things laid out for hours like other hotels. Everything was cooked to your liking at the point of service. Great system and great breakfast experience. The best thing and the most important thing about this hotel is that it that it is very well run with a staff team that seem to enjoy being here. All of the staff without exception have been so friendly, welcoming and smiling making for the perfect stay. We would definitely stay here again.
