Villa Mandi Golf Resort

Nice enough hotel had a good holiday with the kids however the all inclusive had a lot of added extras and the food was very repetitive. The cleaner wasn’t very good the floor wasn’t mopped not enough towels were left and one day the beds weren’t even made. The night entertainment no one went to it wasn’t very good however the magician was ok. The clientele seemed a little rough around the edges however overall we had a good holiday there’s plenty to do locally and the views of the golf course are nice. Would I return? No but would I change the booking if I’d already booked it? Also no it’s just ok.

Checked in as planned. Upon going to the bedroom I noticed the chair had blood on it. Upon looking further the full room was just grotty. Went to the reception and moved to the room next door. When I went into this room the TV didn’t work. The kitchen cabinet was warped. There was holes in the bedroom wall. There was no sheets on the sofa bed which wasn’t ideal as there were 4 of us. Then closed the curtain to see a cockroach so back to the reception. Where I was handed a tin of some sort of repellent and asked to take it back when I was done. We were then moved again the next morning. This room took 4 hours to be ready and it had been scrubbed from top to bottom, which was great but again it’s not really good standards that it takes 3 rooms to get a clean one. Was offered a complimentary buffet ordered a soft drink which wasn’t included in the complimentary the tumbler was filthy. Then a few days later no hot water was coming through so called reception and someone came up and just as they came up the hot water started working where I got a courtesy call from reception who said ‘oh yeah the repairman said the problem is you can’t work a tap’ as if I was the issue. During these complaints the manager never as much as contacted us. Also upon saying to the receptionist about the wall being crumbled her reply was oh yeah these things happen there’s not really much I can do about that. Felt more like the staff and management didn’t want to help.

We had the most amazing stay here this week ! It is a little out the way from places but we budgeted for taxis . We ate break fast some mornings which we paid for , as we were self catering and we also just had lunch as our leaving day. The staff here are lovely , welcoming and very friendly , the children’s entertainers do a marvellous job and all the young ones loved it . The parrot Show was brilliant , never have we stayed anywhere with anything like this . Now , a special mention to Antonio , what a guy ! He is absolutely another level of management material , he communicates and joins in conversation whilst also dealing with any queries you have ! The children loved calling his name every time they walked in from which ever direction they walked in from and he always welcomed them with his professional but funny humour ! We will most definantly be coming back ! We stayed in room 311 , the two bed apartment has a huge terrace on top floor . The only thing I would say the room could do with for self catering is a larger freezer & an air frier , because some of our children on holiday have sensory meds and are funny with the foods they eat ( just a friendly opinion not a criticism ) and how they are cooked but other than that it’s perfect ! Staff - fantastic friendly go above and beyond Food - Great food, freshly cooked. Great service at table and buffet Cleaners - Pool area and resort very clean , prompt may be neeed for room clean. All inclusive drinks - Decent . Some selections (premium ) not included. Enough to get by Room - Balcony good size, room spacious , beds comfortable I would come back

Great location for a chilled week away. Location not far from Los Cristianos & Las Américas, about 30 mins walk or €6(5 mins drive) in a taxi. Pools & pool area great, one pool heated, depth from 1m to 1.4m. Usual pool side activities if you wish to join in. No sunbed wars - I couldn’t believe it! We went all inclusive, breakfast served 8am to 10am. Good selection from full English, continental, pastries, cereal, fruit & omelette station. Lunch in the restaurant 12:30pm to 2:30pm, salads, burgers, hot dogs, grilled chicken & fish cooked to order. Dinner 6pm to 9pm. Steak, fish, turkey cooked to order every night plus other options which slightly vary each evening also Fries, nuggets & pasta. There was evening entertainment but we didn’t watch it. Only a small bar area for drinks in the evening, I think most people drank on their terrace. Room clean, spacious, large terrace. We were on the ground floor but would look into the suites next time as they looked nice with rooftop terrace. Drinks ok, cocktails not included in all inclusive. We paid a good price for family of 4 so we’re happy with our week away I wouldn’t want to pay more.

On the face of it, the hotel looks nice and initially had a good vibe. The rooms are spacious and we had a lovely view over the golf course. The food should suit most people’s tastes as there is always a good selection. Access to Siam Park is easy once you’ve obtained your vouchers from the rep, coach leaves about 10.15 and returns about 5.30, but a taxi costs approximately €8 each way. Unfortunately, the hotel does need a lot of maintenance, flaking paintwork, switches hanging off the wall, general cleanliness was poor and whilst the staff are all lovely, there appears to me no one taking charge. We reported nightly parties in rooms near us plus a very strong smell of ****, and nothing was done about it. Unless you want the unlimited access to Siam Park there are a lot better hotels to choose from
