It is a nice resort for a young family. Please note it is quite away from Playa de america beach and on a steep hill. We had our room at the top of the hill, almost felt like going up 4 floors to get to the room. Limited vegetarian options in hot food. This is quite common with any other resort in Canary Islands. So be ready to compromise on it.
We got 4 single beds. If you are a couple who need a double bed, this could be a problem 😉.
Parking is €5 per day although hotel is far away from beaches. This is something they should provide free. No option outside to park due to steep hill.
We requested to move our room lower as my wife has asthma but not much of luck.

Myself and my adult daughter stayed here for 5nights last week. Lovely hotel , lovely food, pools and decor are lovely, as are the staff in restaurants and bars. Room was lovely , and we had a balcony overlooking a green of next doors golf course. I play a.little golf so enjoyed watching the golfers. It's in walking distance, downhill 25 minutes roughly from the strip of entertainment , however if any issues with mobility , get a taxi back . The fares vary, depends on the taxi driver I guess. It was always between 7 and 8 euro and most dont like handing back the change so it adds to the cost of the holiday. I had known about the distance but had expected local busses to run past the hotel. The taxi rank is roughly 100metres downhill.from the hotel. The hotel does not phone for taxis, I asked. The main issue I have and caused me to give 3 stars was an aggressive attitude from the lifeguard and sometimes constant whistle blowing at kids and also adults. One day , we were away for most of the day , and came back to him shouting and blowing the whistle at kids to get out of the pool because they had jumped in. And then he started on the adults who had moved their sunbeds slightly out towards the pool ,he was intentionally getting everyone's backs up . It ended up in a shouting match beside me . I was not involved in any way , so this is purely from someone who was observing. I find it strange this hasn't been mentioned on other reviews as it caused a terrible atmosphere around the pool, and everyone was on edge. A different lifeguard blew his whistle at a dad who was in the pool with his daughter and just threw her up in the air to land with a splash. Sensibly the dad ignored the whistle-blower. Ive never seen this kind of restrictions before where families are on holidays with kids. And it was very irritating hearing the whistle blowing so much. I understand safety but not to the extent of spoiling a holiday that is quite expensive.

From arriving at the hotel, me and my husband had the best time. All of the staff were extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble. This hotel is one of the cleanest ones we have ever stayed. Although guests can smoke and vape, there are designated areas in which to do so. The pools are heated and very well maintained. We stayed all inclusive, which I would recommend. A variety of food for every meal, and catered for all, even the fussiest of eaters like myself. The restaurant staff are so very hard working. Snacks available at the bar side pool every day were all freshly made. The AI beer was nice and there’s a variety of AI cocktails to choose from, which were all sampled! Soft drinks are the usual branded drinks, and obviously Limon Fanta was the fave. Daytime entertainment was excellent with a variety of activities if you wish to take part. Evening entertainment started at 7 for the little ones and continued through the evening for the older guest. There is a spa on site but if you wish to use, book when you get there. We were only there for a week but there were no spaces left. There is a shuttle bus that takes you to the town, or if you prefer to walk, realistically it would take around fifteen minutes. We got a taxi a few times for €5. Rooms were cleaned immaculately daily. There’s no fighting for sun loungers as there’s plenty of them. Our room was a two level suite and was definitely worth the few extra pennies paid. Myself and the husband had a short break away here for his birthday. It was great for us as a couple, however, there were plenty of families enjoying their holiday too. A fantastic hotel that caters for all. We have booked again for next January, something which I have never done, return to a hotel! Would highly recommend.

Awesome holiday. Staff were fantastic, very friendly and always went the extra mile. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Air-conditioning was a god send. The food was always enjoyable and there was always a good variety available. The pools were clean.

Hotel muy ruidoso es imposible descansar en las habitaciones de la torre 2 primero porque hay música en el zócalo de las 11 am y luego en la noche ruido en los pasillos, parlantes de pasajeros, gritos hasta altas horas de la madrugada, a pesar de llamar a recepción, acudir a recepción que restableciera el orden fue en vano el hotel no hace nada por mantener un ambiente de tranquilidad para sus huéspedes, pésima experiencia

All good with the hotel other than the evenings with the bar staff. Refuse to serve you if all inclusive and instead instruct you to visit the hut next to the bar to pour your own drinks if you want a soft drink or beer using the plastic cups. Not rushed off their feet and unable to fulfill a simple request of a beer in a glass.

Le complexe est beau et le personnel très agréable et disponible. Mais les chambres ne sont pas à la hauteur du reste. La vue golf, c’est en fait une vue sur un grillage barbelé et caméra de sécurité. Dans la salle de bain qui est très grande, aucun rangement. Wc ds la salle de bain. Et le plus ennuyeux c’est la chambre pour la 3eme personne qui en fait se trouve dans le salon cuisine avec un lit d appoint rajouté qui n’est pas du tout confortable et pour couronner le tout pas de rideaux occultants! Mon fils avait la lumière extérieure qui donnait sur son lit. Du coup nous avons descendu son matelas et il a dormi toute la semaine dans notre chambre à côte de notre lit sur un matelas par terre. Et nous avions avec mon mari deux lits individuels qui n’ont jamais été mis en grand lit unique. Le ménage est très léger , juste changement de serviettes éventuellement. D ailleurs quand nous sommes arrivés il n’y avait pas de serviette pour mon fils. Ensuite vous n’avez même pas une bouteille d eau, pensez bien à apporter des gourdes. C’est vraiment dommage car le personnel est très sympathique et les piscines agréables. Par contre vous êtes loin du centre, il faut obligatoirement une voiture ( parking payant) il y a un bus gratuit pour Siam Park et seulement un aller retour par jour pour la plage. Nous avons pris le taxi depuis l aéroport pour 3 au prix de 25€ ( celui que nous avons pris au départ de l hôtel 38€ car il a fait exprès de prendre un trajet plus long) Le loueur de voiture proposait par l hôtel oasis Rent est très bien. Prix compétitif et grande disponibilité. Du coup nous sommes mitigé sur cet hôtel. La prestation all inclusive est pas mal, les infrastructures de l hôtel sont bien entretenues mais les chambres ne sont vraiment pas top.

The hotel is lovely and the staff are incredibly friendly and this is what makes the hotel it really does. We visited for a last minute few days break in jan 2025. The weather was a mixed bag some days felt like home with the rain haha but the rest of the time very good. Rooms are spotless we got upgraded to a pool view room 153 which was spot on. Air con worked perfectly and the beds were comfortable. Slight issue the kitchen light didn’t work and the rest are very dim so could represent a safety issue when going down the stairs to the bathroom at night time. The window to the kitchen wasn’t securely shut but it was high off the floor so no concern to us but others may not like this. It has two large pools and a baby pool which we always got a space around and was lovely as it was clearly heated ! Snack bar was a little hard to find as not sign posted anywhere but we found this on our last day. The hotel is however far away from the main resort area and it’s a good 30 min walk however the hill ( mountain ) you have to climb back to the hotel is honestly ridiculous, I didn’t realise I was mountain climbing! We loved the hotel and staff and the food was good for our short break, however Tenerife we found unfortunately a little boring and not much to do in resorts couldn’t be returning anytime soon. If we did come back we would highly recommend returning to this hotel but only for a few days as is plenty for a break in the sun.

Visited Gran Oasis Resort for 5 days from 12.1.25 for a lovely winter break. Weather during our stay was beautiful with blue skies and whole sun for over 10 hours each day and temperatures around 22/23 degrees. The hotel has a strange set up with many rooms/suites which are split over 2 floors. Upstairs there is a kitchen area and a double bed and downstairs there is another double bed with full bathroom. We stayed downstairs where we could easily access the bathroom as the stairs between the floors were quite difficult to navigate and are definitely not safe for children moving between the floors. We stayed in rooms 16 and 17 which were based at the back of the resort close to the Dual carriageway but noise from the traffic wasn’t an issue. We stayed on an All Inclusive basis and although there was only one restaurant the food choice was varied and there was always plenty of food to eat during Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. From 11am to 6pm there was also a snack bar where you could help yourself to both hot and cold snacks. The staff at this hotel work extremely hard and were always very friendly and welcoming. This hotel is aimed at families with children which wasn’t an issue but many of these families had ‘school aged’ children on holiday during school time when should have been at school. There were also a number of families with younger children too. We would highly recommend this hotel for a break of up to 7 days but anything longer would be too long. Please be aware that this hotel isn’t near the resort centre or the beach but is in an ‘away from it all’ location which was ideal for us but may not suit all. You can get to the resort centre/beach by going down a very steep hill.
