Casa Swell Coronado A Unique Blend of Luxury and Nature in the Hearth of Coronado

I originally booked 5 nights at Casa Swell and ended up staying 2 more because the waves were hitting and the atmosphere was so relaxing. It’s close to Panama City and has the perfect mix of calm beach vibes and luxury boutique-style comfort. The rooms are clean, stylish, and super comfortable. The bed was great, the AC worked well, and little details made it easy to feel at home. The pool is just a few steps from the room, which invites for a quick dip or a calm swimm. I woke up every day to a view of the pool and sky. Even the tropical rain was soothing to watch...and one day, I spotted an iguana sunbathing by the pool, and later, maybe the same one (or its cousin) running for cover from the rain. Loved those little moments. There’s a small desk inside the room, which I used for journaling or editing videos in a cozy, inspiring spot. The bathroom had hot water, shampoo, conditioner, and a safe box for valuables. Each morning I walked to the nearby beach (about 6 minutes away) for yoga, and in the afternoons I enjoyed long beach walks and taking nature photos. Surfing here is excellent—the waves suit all levels, and the host helped organize lessons and boards. I brought my own board, but could’ve easily rented one too. The shared kitchen had everything I needed, and the mango trees in the garden were a sweet bonus for a quick snack. There are lots of chill-out areas: hammocks, sunbeds, comfy sofas...and everything feels calm and peaceful. I felt safe the entire time and really cared for. Casa Swell is a beautiful place to unwind, and definitely to return.

Casa Swell Casa Swell was absolutely one of our favorite vacation spots in Panama. Jay and his family were awesome and attentive. Jay was kind and jovial not only to my family but all guest at Casa Swell. The property itself was beautiful. Coconut trees , palm trees, beautiful flowers and an occasional iguana hanging out by the pool. We didn’t have a car rental (mistake on our part) and Jay made sure that we had taxi drivers and a car service of people he personally knew. We felt comfortable and extremely safe. Because the atmosphere at Casa Swell was small, the other guests became friends over talks during breakfast and evening gatherings. Casa Swell was everything we hoped for and Jay was absolutely the best host ever. Donna Johnson

La estadía en Casa swell con Jerome de anfitrión fue fantástica. Casa swell es la combinación perfecta! la habitación y todos los lugares en común son muy limpios y súper acogedores, Jerome es un excelente anfitrión (nos dio todo tipo de información en los alrededores desde surf, trekking, y hasta shopping 😂), la ubicación es ideal porque es muy fácil llegar desde Panamá ya sea en auto o en bus y la distancia a la playa es muy buena. Casa swell también nos permitió conocer un montón de gente de distintos países y compartir desayuno, almuerzo y cenas en todos los idiomas. Un gusto enorme haber tenido esta experiencia! Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel à Casa Swell avec mon amie. L’accueil était tout simplement parfait : chaleureux, attentionné et super sympathique. On s’est senties tout de suite à l’aise, comme à la maison. L’endroit est magnifique et très bien pensé : chambres confortables, espaces communs accueillants, piscine agréable, et tout est d’une propreté irréprochable. Nous avons aussi profité de super sessions de surf dans les environs, et les hôtes ont été de très bons conseils pour nous orienter vers les bons spots. Casa Swell, c’est bien plus qu’un simple hébergement — c’est une vraie ambiance, un esprit de communauté, et une énergie positive qu’on n’oubliera pas. On recommande à 100 %, et on espère déjà revenir !

Un séjour exceptionnel ! Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été charmés par l'endroit. Tout est bien aménagé avec goût, la piscine, les transats la végétation, coins pour se reposer, cuisine impeccable, bien équipée et spacieuse, il y a même une table de billard. La chambre était spacieuse, parfaitement propre et décorée avec goût. Le lit était incroyablement confortable, literie impeccable. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le calme des lieux, idéal pour se détendre et pour les soirées entre amis. La plage est à quelques minutes de marche, elle est peu fréquentée, idéal pour se baigner, relaxer ou faire de longues promenades. Nous avons adoré notre séjour reviendrons sans hésiter. Normally we prefer larger properties with lots of amenities while on vacation. But the Casa Swell was a great experience. The rooms are comfortable, the pool is very refreshing and the owner, Jay is a great host. He gave us so much information about the area and assisted us in arranging taxis to go out to dinner, etc. Upon arrival we were given an extensive orientation of the property which included a shared kitchen and dining area. Really appreciated the designated spot to store our goods in the common refrigerator. It was easy to cook meals in the common kitchen given the extensive stock of kitchenware. The intimate setting was relaxing and encouraged socializing with other guests. The only disappointment for us was that there was minimal shade around the pool and the chaise lounges were few and very uncomfortable. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay very much and would return.
