Planos Hotel

This is a special hotel. The staff are all customer centred. I felt their aim was ro ensure my holiday was good. Nikos, Joanna on reception were two extremely professional individuals who were helpful, welcoming, and genuine. The hotel was spotless and well maintained. The restaurant staff were great especially the lovely Ukrainian young lady on the bar. I recommend this hotel for families and solo travellers. The area is good and very clean and beautiful.

Het hotel is echt overal netjes en schoon. Het personeel, vanaf de schoonmaakster tot aan al het andere personeel zijn zeer vriendelijk. Een enthousiaste en vriendelijke receptioniste en een behulpzame barman. Het buffet van het all-inclusive restaurant zag er altijd op en top uit. Heerlijk eten en alles netjes verzorgd. Zeker een plek om naar terug te gaan.

Had a weeks break in Sept 2024 as a package holiday and the hotel exceeded our expectations. Had a warm welcome from Nikola on Reception who couldn't do enough for us and was very helpful, friendly and had a good sense of humour. Our room was spot on, very clean and comfortable and there was a complimentary bottle of wine which was a nice touch too. The food on the All Inclusive was really good, there was a decent variety and the quality was one of the nicest I've had in a long time. Wine was also delicious and we have to give a shout out to Theo and Victoria on the bar for serving us with a smile and having banter too - you helped make our holiday. Also what I liked about the hotel was it wasn't too big or small, is part of a chain of hotels that you can use and for our week, it was mostly adults with only a couple of children which added to a nice, relaxing weeks break. Overall hotel exceeded my expectations, the staff were excellent and I had a great holiday so would recommend it others.

Stayed for a week towards the end of the season so not so crowded. The hotel itself is fine - the room was spacious with its own mini-fridge and cleaned every day,. The bed was comfortable, air-con worked ok - all we needed for a room (not too bothered about decor etc). The staff were amazing - Nikolas was always helpful and friendly on reception, and Maria and Angie were fabulous in the restaurant. We were a bit concerned before we travelled around food availability & quality, with my wife & I both being vegan. We needn't have worried - Demetrios, the chef, went out of his way to make sure we had a different meal option every evening and the quality of his food was excellent. This level of service went well beyond what we have experienced in other hotels. The location is fine, a short walk to the nearest beach (which we preferred as there is a great bar nearly called Makai, also catering for vegans) or around 15 mins to the main beach. Loads of bars and restaurants dotted around - we spotted a couple offering vegan options - we really liked the place. Overall, we had a lovely stay, made truly memorable by the fantastic staff and their overwhelming desire to make sure we were looked after, both with our food and other services. Whether they would have the time to do this at the height of summer when the hotel is no doubt much busier, I don't know, but for our stay in early October, they were absolutely brilliant.

Just arrived home after a 5 night stay at Planos. We were left a little gutted to say the least as we did not feel this hotel was a 4 star. The hotel is a lot smaller than I expected, dinner tables are right next to the pool and the rooms are also very close to the pool. The pool and restaurant had no atmosphere it was so quiet and all tables were very close together. The place definitely needed some music as myself and other guests were whispering which gave the place a very awkward atmosphere. Bar man was very sarcastic to guests and unbelievably slow poring drinks as he was to busy trying to flirt with the ladies on reception. Lady serving snack bar food and drinks was very sweet thou. Lady on reception upon arrival made a very awkward welcome and was clearly stressed so she came across quite rude. Rooms are a decent size but pictures show bedroom mirrors and we did not have one, there was only a small one in the bathroom. Bathroom had no surface space for toilet trees so we had to keep everything in our suitcase. Rooms could definitely do with new bedding, our bedding on arrival had blood stains on one of the pillows and holes on the edges of the quilt. Location is okay but in a quiet area with very few bars and restaurants but there is a few souvenir shops, it’s about a 25 minute walk to the other end where it’s a lot more lively with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Snack bar food was lovely with plenty of choice for everyone and breakfast buffet was enjoyable but a little cold. Evening buffet was your average all inclusive food, cold and random picky bits. Unfortunately wouldn’t return to this hotel but Zante has plenty to offer with stunning views and friendly locals.

I went for a last minute trip with my mum. It has a sister hotel over the road which is where the entertainment is, you can use all the facilities at both hotels. We wanted a quiet time so we stayed at Planos. The Admiral had more kids and a livelier atmosphere. The choice of having both restaurants available was a great idea. However the food at Planos was delicious with plenty of choices. The bar snacks were the best ive found in Greece. The room was big enough for us both to have our own space when we wanted. The staff were the cherry on the cake. They made us feel so welcome and nothing was "too much" for them. Truly a wonderful holiday.
