Authentic hotel to stay at. Beautiful. Note, there is a lot of seaweed so you can’t go in the water. Well you can a little on the left hand side. There are a lot of waves. I saw a couple go to the pier and jumped in for their daily swim. Also, the price for diner or anything you purchase at hotel from spa to food or anything else, it’s US Dollars. The other nearby hotels had Belize prices. I ordered ice cream from Roberts Grove and it was $8 US dollars. Hotel nearby charged. Belize dollars which came out to be $4 in US Dollars. I did not come to Belize to be charged US prices.

Mon séjour au Robert's Grove Peninsula Resort en décembre a été une expérience absolument incroyable. Dès notre arrivée à l'hôtel, nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement par le personnel amical et attentionné, qui s'est assuré que tous nos besoins étaient satisfaits tout au long de notre séjour. L'emplacement de l'hôtel est tout simplement magnifique. Niché sur la péninsule de Placencia, l'établissement offre des vues spectaculaires sur l'océan et la plage de sable blanc. Nous avons été enchantés par les paysages pittoresques qui entouraient l'hôtel, offrant une atmosphère de détente et de tranquillité. Les chambres étaient spacieuses, propres et bien aménagées, avec des équipements modernes et des lits confortables. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié notre balcon privé, où nous pouvions profiter des brises tropicales tout en admirant le coucher de soleil. La variété des activités proposées par l'hôtel est impressionnante. Nous avons pu faire de la plongée avec tuba dans la barrière de corail, explorer la jungle environnante lors d'une excursion en kayak et même faire de la pêche en haute mer. Chaque activité était bien organisée et les guides étaient compétents et passionnés. La cuisine de l'hôtel était tout simplement délicieuse. Les restaurants sur place proposaient une grande variété de plats, allant des spécialités locales aux cuisines internationales. Chaque repas était une véritable explosion de saveurs, préparé avec des ingrédients frais et de qualité. Ce qui rend vraiment le Robert's Grove Peninsula Resort spécial, c'est le service exceptionnel fourni par le personnel. Ils étaient toujours prêts à aider et à répondre à nos questions, nous offrant des recommandations sur les endroits à visiter et les activités à ne pas manquer. Leur hospitalité sincère et leur attention aux détails ont contribué à rendre notre séjour vraiment mémorable. En conclusion, je recommande vivement le Robert's Grove Peninsula Resort à tous ceux qui souhaitent vivre une expérience exceptionnelle à Placencia au Belize. Avec son emplacement magnifique, ses chambres confortables, sa cuisine délicieuse et son service attentionné, cet hôtel offre tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour des vacances parfaites. J'ai hâte de revenir pour créer de nouveaux souvenirs inoubliables.

My friend and I spent two nights here on a girl's trip and we paid in advance. Before our arrival, they were very on the ball with coordinating our airport arrival and they were on time to meet us when we flew in from a neighboring island. From there, it was downhill. Our room was not ready despite the fact that the hotel was practically empty. For a two-night stay, this cut into our vacation time since we had hoped to settle in and explore the island. Instead, they kept saying it was "almost" ready and they kept "checking" on it. We ended up eating lunch there because it took so long and had to change our plans for that day's activities. The room was finally ready and nobody offered to help carry our baggage up the stairs to the second floor. At a four-star resort, this is surprising. Our room looked nothing like the website and it was very dated and dark. There was no hot water and they told me someone would come but it was never fixed. We had planned to spend our last day there at the spa and pool but canceled the appointments as it was so unwelcoming, Luckily, we spent the day at a neighboring resort instead and had a great day. They even picked us up and dropped us off. The front desk staff was not friendly. I asked for an umbrella one morning just to go to my room and the girl said she forgot hers that day so there was no umbrella. Again, at a 4-star hotel, this is surprising, especially since the room had an umbrella holder by the door. The complimentary breakfast was fine but you get what they are serving so hope you like it. There was no milk one day. We barely saw any other guests there but I would think milk should always be on hand. There were no cushions on the pool chairs but they brought hard foam mats to use. The water sports boats, etc. were just piled up from the beach. Nobody offered to show us how to use anything and it did not feel safe since the beach was unsupervised. The room was so musty my passport was curled up when we left. We never got hot water and the AC barely worked. Definitely a very bad experience for the price - $260 per night. I think this place was once very nice because it came highly recommended to me but clearly, that person visited it a long time ago. There are so many other nicer options for the same price. On the day we checked out, there was a very friendly woman working at the front desk. She was surprised that we had no hot water the whole time and offered a 20 percent discount but that was over a week ago and nothing yet. Even still, 20% for no hot water and unfriendly staff is still not worth the price.

I have been here many times in the past and always bring friends and recommend it. However, the security guard today was on a power trip. I realized I came in the exit, but there weren't any other vehicles coming so I went ahead and parked on a slant just like the SUV next to me. He proceeded to walk all the way across the parking lot to chastise me for coming in the exit. As I was unloading my walker, he came back and said I needed to park the golf cart straight. This was really ignorant on his part, because then I would have taken up 2 parking spaces. I told him I would forgo having lunch there because of his behavior. This didn't seem to bother him. Business is still so slow here that a snotty security guard should not be turning away paying
