My husband and I had wanted to get away for the night and the day we planned had inclement weather. I called to see if they were open and we went there knowing that most places were closed in the area. We stayed in the Nest room and I really enjoyed the claw foot tub on a cold night! There were other guests there, but we had privacy in our clean room. Breakfast the next morning was good to get up on our way! Thank you for a nice stay and we look forward to staying again.

Wonderful stay with a very engaging owner. My wife and I enjoyed the ambiance of Southern living at a very reasonable price. Rooms are great and breakfast delicious. As a former Durham resident whom now lives in Pennsylvania, makes me me want to come back home!

We attended the Stokes Family's first Grand Cru Champagne Dinner. We had a lovely time. The setting is peaceful and comfortable and the hospitality was impeccable. Our dinner was absolutely delicious and everyone went above and beyond to make it an extra special occasion.
