Seventy-Four Ranch

Even though it was a slow Monday I was treated with the utmost graciousness and hospititality by Pam and her sister. If you could stay in a 200 year-old farmhouse with history (ask about the Butch Cassidy connection!) and have a wonderful farm-fresh breakfast why would you stay at a generic chain hotel?!

74 Ranch is a very special place!! The scenery is gorgeous, especially with the horses meandering through the pastures. The buildings have a lot of history and are very inviting, comfortable and pleasingly decorated. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. breakfast was delicious.

Beautiful views, great customer service and delicious homemade breakfast. Lovely every single time! It is such an amazing historical place and the horses are so fun to watch or even ride. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a fantastic and unique getaway.

Going to the Seventy-four Ranch is like stepping back to the Old West, only prettier. Awesome place and enchanting tales from the owner. Pam and Jane are fabulous people. We went to this place for a respite, and we got what we wanted, with beauty and charm. Even the horses were friendly. We can't wait to go back with our family and friends.

Surpassed my high expectations I was met by Pam, the owner and immediately felt welcomed. She had phoned me earlier in the day to inquire about arrival time and whether I needed directions. I was looking for quiet and solitude and after a tour of the amazing home, I was left alone while the option to mingle with other guests was available. The home is so beautiful and has so much history and things to look at. Television with Netflix was available but not used. Spent the remainder of the day watching the horses and cows out in the field. Horseback riding is available. Breakfast was fantastic, coffee available 24/7 and Pam joined everyone for breakfast to tell the story of the ranch and how it came to be. It’s in the country but quite close to stores and restaurants. This was a one night pit stop as I was heading for camping and hiking. Should I come this way again, I will certainly book the Seventy Four Ranch again. I will recommend this B & B to anyone traveling through northern Georgia. It was a unique and an unforgettable experience. Thank you Pam for the wonderful stay.

Beautiful and peaceful getaway! Business trip and I found this fabulous B&B. It’s charming, peaceful and the hostess takes care of every need. Will be visiting whenever I’m in town for business and thinking of bringing my teen daughter and friends back for. Week of horseback riding and exploring the mountains. Love this place
