We arrived a few minutes prior to check in and were told by the lady in the coffee shop below that they hadn’t cleaned our room yet and we’d need to wait twenty minutes. We happily sat down with a coffee to wait. Thirty minutes later, I attempted to follow the check in instructions left to me but the room key was not left where the instructions said it would be so I checked with the lady in the coffee shop again. She told me my room still wasn’t clean. I ended up waiting 50 minutes after check in before she told me it was ready and the key should be there. Again, I tried to follow the check in instructions but our key wasn’t there. I checked with the coffee shop lady again (separately owned business, but she was so incredibly helpful despite it not being her job to help!). She then took pictures of my reservation confirmation and called the owner. The owner said he had double booked the room and other people had already been in the room this whole time. He couldn’t find confirmation of my booking anywhere. The coffee shop owner then said the owner would reach out to me through the platform several times. At this point, I also reached out to support. Support said the owner would reach out to me through the platform. He never did. Instead, I got another automated email telling me how to check into my room (same instructions). Finally, two hours after check in time, support reaches out to me and says they have an “upgrade” to another room and that room is ready for me. I follow the instructions to check into that room (which by the way isn’t an upgrade - it’s the same level/price). The room hasn’t been cleaned - the bed is unmade and slept in, used towels are on the floor, dirty dishes are in the sink and trash is on the table. I reach out to support and let them know. The coffee shop lady also checks on me and I tell her. My husband and I walk around town a bit waiting for our room to be cleaned. An hour later, support messages me that the room has been cleaned. Spoiler alert: it hasn’t even been touched. We let support know again. Our room didn’t end up being cleaned or ready until sometime between 6-7pm, 4-5 hours after check in.
Another couple was also waiting for their room beyond check in time with us originally. Their room was ready a bit sooner than ours, but they later told us they didn’t have any electricity in their room and had to move rooms.
Pros: the location was nice if you want to explore old town and the coffee shop below was superb.
Cons: super difficult and late check-in, didn’t receive the room I booked, poor communication, bed was so hard I checked to see if it was even a mattress (and I prefer hard beds!), shoddy cleaning, and the room is set up with windows to the inside of the downstairs businesses - lights in those businesses were left on overnight making our room pretty bright overnight.

당신이 이곳에 머무른다면 프론트 데스크가 없을 때 일어날 수 있는 최악의 상황을 모두 감수해야 합니다.
1) 1층에 카페가 있고 따로 프론트가 없는 구조입니다. 어떻게 가야하는지 카페 직원에게 묻고 위로 올라갔습니다. 별다른 안내가 없었고 필수인 해외 여행자의 여권 사진 촬영도 하지 않아 상당히 불안했습니다. 이에 대해 카페 직원에게 물으니 잘 모른다고 합니다. 카드키도 상자에서 꺼내서 들어가는 구조라 응대직원을 만나지 못했습니다.
2) autumn 방에 묵었습니다. 3층인데 엘레베이터가 없고 계단이 매우 비좁습니다. 큰 캐리어를 들고 올라가려면 큰 어려움을 겪을 것입니다. 그 캐리어가 무겁다면 불안정한 자세로 인해 자칫 안전사고 위험이 있습니다.
3) 이제부터가 진짜 힘든 점입니다. 2명이 이틀을 묵는 동안 타월 2개를 써야 합니다. 방청소 서비스가 없는데 타월을 더 달라고 할 프론트가 없습니다. 메일로 문의했지만 묵묵부답이고 체크아웃 하고 나서도 이에 대한 답변을 듣지 못했습니다. 이틀째 되는 날 수영이 포함된 투어를 다녀왔기 때문에 깨끗이 씻고 싶었지만 썼던 타월을 한 번 더 써야 했습니다. 샤워기의 수압은 매우 좋지 않습니다. 오래 씻어야 합니다.
4) 더 최악의 상황은 지금부터입니다. 둘째날 아침에 갑자기 문의 카드키가 작동하지 않았습니다. 오전 일찍 투어를 가야했기 때문에 email로 카드키가 작동하지 않으니 조치를 해달라고 한 뒤 떠났습니다. 직원이 방문할 예정이고, 조치를 하겠다는 답변 메일이 와서 일단 안심했습니다. 저녁 10시경이 되어서야 숙소에 돌아왔는데 카드키가 여전히 작동하지 않습니다. 메일로 어떻게 된 일이냐고 물었고 안내된 해외 연락처로 10번을 전화해도 받지 않습니다. 11번째쯤 되자 어떤 남성이 전화를 받았는데 상황을 설명하니 5분 뒤 전화를 주겠다고 했지만 20분동안 전화가 안 옵니다. 우두커니 문 앞에서 기다리다가 다시 전화를 걸자 다소 알아듣기 어려운 발음으로 문제를 해결해주겠다고 합니다. 마지막까지 이 숙소의 오프라인 응대를 받지 못했으며, 문이 열리는 과정에서 온라인으로 사투를 벌이다가 30분 만에 정확히 파악하기 어려운 이유로 겨우 열렸습니다. 직접 오기 귀찮았는지 시스템적으로 열리는 프로그램을 마련해둔 것 같은데, 그 해결 방법이 깔끔하게 작동하지 않았기 때문에 우리는 들어가지 못하고 1시간 가까이 힘든 시간을 보내야 했습니다.
숙소의 컨디션은 나쁘지 않았고, 마음에 드는 포인트들도 꽤 있었습니다만 이틀 동안 너무 기분 나쁜 경험이 많았기에 이 숙소에 대해선 절대 묵지 말라고 말할 수밖에 없을 것 같습니다.
다시한번 말하지만 프론트가 없는 모든 단점을 다 겪게 될 숙소입니다. 만약 당신이 이곳을 고른다면 그 모든 걸 감수할 준비를 하고 예약하십시오.
