Nightmare in paradise. My best friends got married this week, with their families flying in from all over the world for a rare reunion. Their family of 9 (including 2 babies and a grandma) checked into Villa Nevaeh the day after the wedding with the hopes of spending some quality time all together. Within an hour after the staff checked them in, the nightmare began. There hasn't been hot water for 24h, the AC cannot be controlled, there are bedbugs in practically every room. The bride had an asthma episode 2h upon arriving at the villa, and her doctor has confirmed that the described conditions were the triggers. If you thought it couldn't get worse, their alarm this morning was from construction next door (video attached). I'm writing this review because instead of enjoying our last vacation day, all of us have been trying to find the newlyweds another villa or hotel - and everything is sold out across the island probably because of ***** new year. Instead of taking responsibility for his property, the owner who owns 30 other villas in Phuket REFUSED to give a refund or help them out. This is not an ethical business. Video of bedbugs in the presidential suite attached. Other rooms also had them and the owner refused to do anything. This review is a warning. If you're looking for an stress-free time with your family and are willing to pay big bucks for it, this villa is not it. Please also watch out for the other properties under this management - Atlas One Group.
