On the night of October 2, the night auditor at the Sheraton hotel was not answering and disconnecting the front desk phone. We arrived at PHL airport at 12:30 a.m. and attempted to call the front desk multiple times for a shuttle pickup, but each time the call seemed to disconnect deliberately, or the front desk repeatedly hung up. Our calls kept returning to the hotel prompt. When my colleague called the Aloft hotel, their front desk answered right away and kindly arranged the shuttle for us. Thankfully, our shuttle driver was very nice and friendly, which we appreciated. Upon arriving at the Sheraton, we asked the front desk person if we had been calling the correct number, as it seemed like our calls were consistently being disconnected. The front desk staff mentioned that the phone was "acting up." Either the hotel phone wasn’t functioning properly, which is unacceptable for a Sheraton as part of the upper-tier Marriott brand, or the staff was simply being negligent and refusing to take late-night calls. Please address this issue immediately. Thank you.
