We had a wonderful 2 night stay with 3 safari drives. The first night we saw a Lion and his pride. It was amazing along with other animals. The property had all we needed and provided us with delicious meals and very personable safari guides. We had an amazing time and look forward to telling our friends and maybe returning one day.

We had the most amazing stay in the Muweti Cottage part of the Muweti Bush Lodge. The cottage is a little gem with 2 very spacious bedrooms, both ensuite. With a kitchen area and living room. There is a fairly spacious garden with a plunge pool and decking area. The cleanliness from the staff is 10/10 and they service the rooms every day. I couldn't recommend the cottage enough. The reserve is full of spectacular sightings with plenty opportunities to see some animals. The owners are the most welcoming and friendliest of people, feels like a home from home.

Our stay at Muweti Bush Lodge was absolutely incredible. The intimate atmosphere made it feel like a home in the heart of the bush. Mike and Laura were outstanding hosts — warm, welcoming, and truly passionate. Having them join us for dinners added such a personal and special touch to the experience (ask Mike to get his guitar out!) The game drives with Mike, Laura, and Neil were phenomenal — packed with amazing sightings and expert insights. The whole lodge had a fun, relaxed vibe that made every moment unforgettable. If you're looking for a safari with heart, adventure, and genuine hospitality, this is absolutely the place!

We just got back from an incredible 5-night stay at Muweti Bush Lodge and honestly, it couldn’t have been better! We stayed in a tented chalet, which was perfect — super comfortable and gave us that amazing feeling of really being out in the bush. Waking up to the sounds of nature all around was just magical. The food was another highlight — breakfast, lunch, and dinner all cooked by their talented chef, and every meal was absolutely delicious. They really looked after us! During the day, we loved chilling by their infinity pool (which was always spotless) and often had animals wandering nearby — such a cool experience. The sunrise and sunset game drives were a dream — so well-organized, and we always felt safe. Our guides were so knowledgeable and passionate, which made every drive even more enjoyable. We were lucky to see so much wildlife and nature: giraffes, lions, wild dogs, hyenas, hippos, crocodiles, zebras, antelope, and loads more. Every drive was different and exciting. And finally, Laura and Mike, the hosts, were just the best — so warm, welcoming, and genuinely lovely people. They made the whole experience even more special. And all the staff at Muweti were fantastic too — always friendly, helpful, and made us feel completely at home. Highly recommend Muweti if you’re looking for an authentic, relaxed, and unforgettable safari experience!

Lovely small boutique bush lodge. The staff are excellent and helpful. The food is incredible, they cater for your dietary needs. Very peaceful place. We did 2 game drives per day, the guides are experienced and knowledgable. The tented chalets are very comfortable and private, views to the bush from the chalet. It was an incredible experience and I would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for the boutique experience with a small number of guests.

So beautiful and the staff were superb.. the food fantastic.. bush drives were the best and the guides were exceptional. The camp fire at night gave the guests time to share stories and enjoy a drink. The accommodation was extremely comfortable and the view from our lodge was exciting as we seen wild dogs !

Muweti, une expérience magique et extraordinaire. Accueilli par la gentillesse de Mike et Laura, on s’y sent bien dès notre arrivée. 10 jours de safari avec notre guide Hardus, à qui la réserve n’a aucun secret et connaît tous les recoins. Safaris magnifiques, nous avons pu observer beaucoup d’animaux du Bush (éléphants, lions, etc….) même jusqu’au plus petit (Caméléon…). Les lodges sont extra, très bien entretenu, toujours propres, les velvets viennent même nous rendre visite sur la terrasse…. Les instants repas sont conviviaux, chaleureux et délicieux, pas un seul jour nous avons été déçus, de plus, toujours des plats typiques Sud-Africain. Nous n’oublierons jamais ses vacances exceptionnelles, MERCI Mike, Laura, Hardus et votre équipe. A très bientôt, nous reviendrons…. Guillaume et Muriel.

Accueillis chaleureusement par Laura et Mike, nous avons instantanément eu cette agréable sensation, celle qui vous dit que vous passerez un séjour inoubliable. on ne se lasse pas des safaris avec Hardus, le bush n'a pas de secret pour lui. Face à face avec lions, guépard, éléphants, tout est magnifique.... et Hardus partage sans compter sa connaissance de toutes les espèces, de la plus petite à la plus grande, nous faisant prendre conscience de l'importance de chacune. La piscine offre quelques moments de détente, et fruits frais, petits plats cuisinés "aux ptits oignons' viennent agrémenter toutes les belles journées passées.. Et puis... quel plaisir de se retrouver autour du boma, moments de partage pendant lesquels Laura, Hardus et Mike nous livrent toutes leurs émotions.... et ces bons moments se poursuivent avec quelques spécialités sud-africaines. Ces soirées étaient toujours conclues par les petites surprises concoctées par Mike. Désormais, Muweti est au cœur de nos échanges familiaux, ici en France. C'est le cœur lourd que nous avons quitté Muweti, et c'est le cœur heureux que nous y reviendrons. Encore merci à toute l'équipe, qui dans l'ombre, nous permet de passer des vacances dans des lodges toujours propres et soignés. Isabelle, Yohann et Gégé

Magical, unique, a privileged experience of Kruger
This is a most beautiful and tranquil hideaway that invites you in so you never want to leave. In the first hour of our arrival a herd of elephants with some babies came to drink, just metres away. Hardus and his team offered impeccable service. Wonderful meals every day, with every wish catered for. The highlight, by far, was the game drives early morning and late afternoon. Hardus is an exceptionally knowledgeable and competent guide, and full of passion for the animals and the environment. We experienced incredible sightings, from lion to elephants at play, to almost everything else. It’s very beautiful and interesting terrain, with a marvellous riverside experience included. Our early morning coffee outside the vehicle on the river bank, watching the hippos and the sunrise, were memorable. It doesn’t get better than this!
