Hampton Inn & Suites Petoskey

Well I took my kids there to swim and my husband and I love sitting in the jacuzzi but they never told us it was broke not even at check in did they tell us it was broke I only live 10 min from the hotel so I went there for that Exact reason so yea the kids had fun but my husband and I didn’t

Such a lovely hotel with a great view of the bay from the hotel windows and dining area. Pool and hot tub were great and we enjoyed use of the clean and well stocked workout room, as well as the pantry shelves while we were there. Staff was exceptionally friendly and the location was perfect for our various Petoskey adventures.

This was our 54th wedding anniversary trip and we could not have been more pleased with this hotel. I want to give a huge thank you to Erica and Carrie. Both of these ladies were extremely helpful on suggestions of things to do and places to eat as well as being so very nice, friendly and helpful with anything we needed. Our room was amazing. The view of Lake Michigan was amazing. The room was perfect for us, clean, beds very comfortable and a nice bathroom. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!

The staff was great was wonderful and the room was clean, these are the two positives. The ‘Lake View’ was mostly the top of a commercial building and a complete ripoff as we paid extra for it, breakfast was not up to Hampton Inn standards. I will choose to stay elsewhere on my next trip.

Although the first impression, this looks like a lovely place, paying 500.00 for the view of a mall roof overlooking the lake is ridiculous! The cleaning crew could use some help. See the pictures. There was no ventilation in the bathroom and you can see why. The breakfast was subpar. Out of 5 hotels this trip, this was was the most expensive and at the bottom. No thank you for the money. Not sure if it's worth half of what we paid.

The room was fine, standard Hampton which is always great. The “bayview” promised in the 1st floor room was a joke (great view of The roof of a very big building and then a very tiny slice of water in the far distance). The elevator was so horribly slow and never even came after six minutes. It’s only a four-story building! I took the stairs. This wasn’t good because I have a breathing problem, but I didn’t have a choice. So I asked to move to the lobby/parking level, which was the second floor. Much better than you and no dealing with the elevator They moved me, but we’re not terribly happy about it. The elevator is a dealbreaker for you and I will not stay there again

Our stay was awesome! We checked in on Saturday and out on Wednesday. This hotel is doing things right. We are diamond members and travel frequently. The renovation was recent as the property looked clean and nice. More importantly, the staff were all friendly and helpful! You can tell, the team here really enjoys what they do and who they work with. We felt at home and welcome! Joe - kind and helpful Jacob - very helpful and always service with a smile Kari - so sweet, helped move us from a room on the 3rd floor to a room with a view and away from the kitchen/breakfast area, helped us with our checkout time Manager - brunette, very helpful Housekeepers - all were helpful, friendly Breakfast and coffee in the morning - good variety and it was nice to have coffee available after breakfast hours. Lots of convenient parking. Beautiful Views - the hotel sits to have a view of Little Traverse Bay Wifi - I was working remotely and was grateful for strong wifi for my meetings and VCs. Laundry - had W/D onsite and can pay with quarters or with a cc via an app. Room options - this property appears to have a variety of suite sizes, we will be back as we'd like to visit with family. Conveniently located - great location, can walk to restaurants - Southwoods and Spring and Porter to name a few THANK YOU!!!

Manager Rene Knox of Petoskey went above and beyond to rectify a situation when the Days Inn canceled our reservation after 12 hours of not answering the phone. Rene and her staff quickly and efficiently found us alternative accommodations and ensured that we were comfortable and well taken care of. Their professionalism and dedication turned a potentially stressful situation into a pleasant experience. We are incredibly grateful for their exceptional service and highly recommend Rene and her team.

I booked two rooms (a King studio suite and a 2 a studio suite) for 1 night for a quick, family getaway. I am a HH Diamond member and used my app to check in. I called the hotel a day before and spoke to Jacob at the front desk. I was so impressed by his friendly and positive attitude. Upon arrival to the hotel, Jacob was working at the front desk and he checked us in. He was very professional and helpful. I love the renovations that were recently completed! I am very happy with the quality and decor of the room and bathroom. Everything is clean and new! I will definitely stay here again the next time I am in the area. Highly recommend!
