St Olaf location was great for golf. Short walk to Cruden Bay clubhouse. Hotel was clean and staff was very friendly.

One of the best hotel stays we've ever had! An absolutely beautiful stay! The owners of the hotel instantly make you feel welcome and at home. The views from the hotel are breathtaking and the rooms are clean, spacious and quiet. The food in the restaurant was perfectly cooked, wether it was breakfast, lunch or dinner. The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. I can't say enough good things about our stay. We will recommend this hotel to everyone we know. We are thankful to the hotel for their hospitality which went above and beyond. We can't wait to come back!

We stayed here for a golf trip. Great location. The staff were brilliant and really looked after us. We were a bit unlucky that the Thursday pool league was on in the sports bar the same night but we still enjoyed our stay. Very comfy bed and a nice breakfast in the morning. Would defo recommend.

Great little hotel with perfect location, a couple of hundred yards from Cruden Bay Golf Course. Our room (1 of 5 rooms in hotel) overlooked the course and provided a super view of the sun rising over the North Sea. The food was very good, though they give you a little too much on your large plate. Owner and manager both do a tremendous job and are very personable. I will return.

We went for a try of the Breakfasts today …. Brilliant…seating/table good , service excellent , prices ok and decent portion size perfectly cooked …. Will be back for another breakfast/ brunch again soon as we live local Looking after locals

Four of us guys spent five nights at the St Olaf on a birthday golfing trip. Our stay at the St. Olaf was outstanding. The hotel location was excellent for golf at Cruden Bay and neighboring courses, the hotel facility itself met all expectations, and the staff was very friendly and accomodating. I’d recommend St. Olaf to all.

Had a great stay at St Olaf am back again next week on business, staff very pleasant and helpful, food was fantastic, and a nice bar area with Sky for the football and pool table. The rooms are made up every day also, and the view of the golf course from the room is a nice bonus also.

There were 9 of us in the dining room for dinner. Great atmosphere,friendly service and good home cooked food. There was a live band on when we went on a Sat night. Service was very efficient. The female serving actually thanked us and said we were a pleasure to serve which was very nice of her but unfortunately I didnt get her name. Will definitely be back.

The St Olaf Golf Hotel has a great atmosphere and is very welcoming from their friendly staff. Would highly recommend anyone to visit when they can get the chance to sample the excellent food or even just the bar for drinks. Also very family friendly and dogs are allowed in too so there’s almost no excuse not to go and see for yourself.

Having stayed here before a couple of times, I am always drawn back to this hotel due to its spectacular location and views. Rooms and comfortable and clean and a good choice of tasty breakfasts on offer although not included in a standard price.

My wife and I were in Cruden Bay and decided to have lunch at St Olaf's. I asked if there were Gluten Free options available, the member of staff on duty showed me the menu had a full page of gf dishes. I opted for the chicken fillets, fries and salad, I expected the chicken fillets would either have batter or breadcrumb coatings, as both are widely available on menus. What I was served with wasa plate of fries with "Chicken" pieces that looked and felt like frozen, microwaved chicken. The salad was also missing. I persevered and asked for the salad, I should have just got up and left. I have emailed the hotel and attached a photo of the "Offering" I have recieved an apology but no offer if a refund
